Candida is a relatively common disease. Many women ignore its harmfulness and often fail to pay attention to hygiene, which only aggravates its existence. This disease is contagious and is currently difficult to cure completely. It manifests as local itching, increased vaginal discharge with an odor, etc. It is mainly caused by unclean sexual intercourse and lack of personal hygiene. So how do you deal with Candida? A positive Candida test indicates an inflammatory infection. First of all, Candida vaginitis is also called candidal vaginitis. The main clinical manifestations are increased leucorrhea, a tofu-like odor, accompanied by vulvar or vaginal itching, etc. It is mainly caused by daily lack of attention to hygiene and unclean sexual intercourse. Generally, sexual intercourse is prohibited during treatment. After one month of treatment, you need to go to a regular hospital for relevant follow-up examinations. Only when the test results are negative for three consecutive times can it be considered cured. In addition, if you do not treat candidal vaginitis in time, it is very likely to be retrogradely infected and cause pelvic inflammatory disease, cervicitis, etc. Therefore, it is recommended that you go to a regular hospital for relevant examinations, and then carry out targeted treatment after clarifying the cause of the disease, so as to avoid delaying the disease and causing unnecessary infection. symptom 1. When the symptoms of vulvar itching and burning pain are severe, the patient will be restless and suffer abnormal pain; 2. There may be frequent urination, dysuria and pain during sexual intercourse; 3. Increased leucorrhea. Typical leucorrhea is white, thick and resembles bean curd residue. During the examination, a white membrane-like substance can be seen attached to the inner side of the labia minora and the vaginal mucosa, which is wiped off to reveal the red and swollen mucosal surface. In the acute phase, damaged erosive surfaces and shallow ulcers may be seen covered by a white membrane. Clinical manifestations The most common symptoms of candidal infection are excessive vaginal discharge, burning and itching of the vulva and vagina, exogenous dysuria, and vulvar geographic erythema (fungal or candidal vulvovaginitis). Typical leucorrhea is curd-like or flaky, the vaginal mucosa is highly red and swollen, and white thrush-like plaques can be seen attached, which are easy to peel off. Underneath is an eroded base of damaged mucosa, or shallow ulcers may form. In severe cases, ecchymosis may remain. However, not all leucorrhea has the above typical characteristics. It can range from watery to curd-like leucorrhea. Some are completely thin and clear serous exudates, which often contain white flakes. The itching symptoms of candidal vaginitis during pregnancy are particularly severe, and may even cause restlessness and abnormal pain. There may also be symptoms such as frequent urination, painful urination, and pain during sexual intercourse. In addition, about 10% of women and 30% of pregnant women are carriers of mold but have no clinical symptoms. |
