Is urethritis serious?

Is urethritis serious?

Urethritis is a common urinary system disease. Women are more susceptible to this disease than men, which is more harmful to women's health. It not only easily leads to some urinary system symptoms, but also easily induces other diseases, such as cervicitis, cystitis or acute pelvic inflammatory disease, etc. Therefore, if you have urethritis, you must receive regular treatment.

(1) Cervicitis

If women suffer from urethritis and do not receive timely treatment, it may lead to cervicitis. After suffering from cervicitis, women's leucorrhea will increase and become mucopurulent. During examination, edema of the cervix may be seen.

(2) Cystitis

After suffering from urethritis, women often have symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating, and may also suffer from acute non-gonococcal hemorrhagic cystitis. During the examination, there is redness and swelling at the urethral opening, and compression of the urethra may cause a small amount of yellowish secretions.

(3) Acute pelvic inflammatory disease

When women suffer from urethritis, if the condition becomes serious, they may also develop acute pelvic inflammatory disease. The main symptoms are fever, headache, loss of appetite, lower abdominal pain, etc., as well as gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, bloating, and vomiting.

(4) Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease

Urethritis can also be complicated by chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, but the systemic symptoms are generally not obvious, mainly manifested as lower abdominal distension, pain and back pain, increased leucorrhea, etc.

Patients with urethritis should avoid spicy food. Spicy food should be kept away from the patient's table as much as possible. Such food will make the patient feel hot and dry, and cause heat and toxins to accumulate in the internal organs, resulting in symptoms such as swollen and painful gums, mouth sores, burning sensation in the anus, short and red urine, and itchy pain in the front and back of the vulva, which will seriously aggravate the patient's disease symptoms.

Above we introduced some diseases that are easily caused by urethritis. Now everyone is clear. It is not difficult to see that for patients with urethritis, there are many things that they cannot eat too much during the treatment process. These things are not conducive to the treatment of the disease. I hope our introduction will be helpful to everyone. During the treatment, attention should be paid to dietary adjustments to reduce the adverse effects of food on disease treatment.
