What are the four major symptoms of advanced pelvic cancer?

When pelvic cancer reaches the late stage, the symptoms will become more obvious, such as menstrual disorders, severe pain in the lower abdomen, increased abdominal circumference, abdominal pain, etc. If you experience obvious physical discomfort, you should learn to get checked in time. If you cannot judge on your own, you should go to a regular hospital for a detailed diagnosis so that you can understand your physical condition in a timely manner.

1. Menstrual disorders. Generally, pelvic cysts, even bilateral pelvic cysts, do not cause menstrual disorders because they do not destroy all normal pelvic tissues. Some uterine bleeding is not endocrine in nature, but is caused by pelvic cancer that changes the pelvic blood vessel distribution and causes endometrial congestion. Or it may be caused by direct metastasis of pelvic malignant tumors to the endometrium. Menstrual disorders caused by endocrine tumors are often combined with other secretory influences.

2. Lower abdominal discomfort is the initial symptom before the patient touches the lower abdominal mass. Due to the weight of the tumor itself, as well as the influence of intestinal peristalsis and changes in body position, the tumor moves in the pelvic cavity, involving its pedicle and pelvic funnel ligament, causing the patient to have a feeling of distension and heaviness in the lower abdomen or iliac fossa.

3. Increased abdominal circumference and abdominal swelling are the most common complaints. Patients find that their clothes or belts seem tight and they just notice the enlargement of their abdomen or they accidentally feel it in the morning and press their abdomen and find swelling in their abdomen and abdominal distension and discomfort.

4. Abdominal pain: If the tumor has no complications, there is very little pain. Therefore, if patients with pelvic cancer feel abdominal pain, especially if it occurs suddenly, it is mostly caused by torsion of the tumor pedicle, or occasionally by tumor rupture, bleeding or infection. In addition, malignant cysts often cause abdominal pain and leg pain, and the pain often causes patients to seek emergency treatment.
