How to treat ovarian inflammation

How to treat ovarian inflammation

Nowadays, almost every woman has gynecological inflammation. There are many types of gynecological inflammation, among which ovarian inflammation has a high incidence rate. It belongs to the scope of pelvic inflammatory disease. Ovarian inflammation can be acute or chronic. Generally, women after childbirth are prone to ovarian inflammation, and ovarian inflammation can cause irregular menstruation, back pain, abdominal pain, fever, infertility and other symptoms. If infertility occurs, surgical treatment can be used.

Treatment of ovarian inflammation in women

(1) When treating ovarian inflammation, if it is polycystic ovary syndrome: the first choice of treatment should be clomiphene, followed by ovarian wedge resection and oophorectomy, cyst puncture and other therapies, which can also achieve good results.

(2) Ovarian inflammation: It can be divided into tuberculous and non-substantial ovarian parenchymal inflammation and peripheral inflammation. For inflammation, anti-inflammatory treatment should be the main treatment; for those with surrounding fibrous adhesions, laparotomy or laparoscopic adhesion lysis can be considered; for tuberculosis patients, anti-tuberculosis treatment can be performed. This is a method to treat ovarian infertility.

(3) Abnormal ovarian position: Ovarian sagging causes the anatomical position of the fallopian tube fimbria and the ovary to change, thus affecting the entry of the egg into the fallopian tube. In this case, when choosing a method to treat ovarian infertility, you can consider shortening the ovarian ligament or fixing the ovarian mesentery to the posterior wall of the uterus. Adhesive uterine malposition is often caused by inflammation and endometriosis, both of which can cause infertility. Surgery or laparoscopic adhesion lysis can be considered, which are methods for treating ovarian infertility.

Main symptoms of ovarian inflammation

1. In addition to acute inflammation, chronic oophoritis can also cause general fatigue, poor spirits, irregular menstruation, etc.;

2. Acute oophoritis can cause fever, abdominal pain, lumbar pain, anal swelling, etc.

3. Ovarian inflammation can lead to infertility because pelvic inflammation causes increased inflammatory secretions in the reproductive tract, affecting the survival and activity of sperm.

Prevention of ovarian inflammation in women

1. Pay attention to hygiene

First of all, in order to prevent oophoritis, I think we should start by correcting our lifestyle habits. Be sure to pay attention to hygiene. The hygiene mentioned here refers to both personal hygiene and that of sexual partners. Because many gynecological inflammations such as oophoritis, vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, etc. are related to personal and partner hygiene.

2. Use less or no contraceptive pills

If you can avoid taking birth control pills, then don't take them. Because taking birth control pills can easily disrupt your ovulation pattern, which is not good for your health. Although some people have suggested that taking birth control pills can reduce the risk of ovarian cysts. However, doctors still recommend that you do not use the same contraceptive method for a long time. Taking birth control pills is not the best method of contraception or prevention of oophoritis.

3. Healthy diet

In order to prevent inflammation such as oophoritis, in addition to paying attention to hygiene, you must also develop healthy eating habits. For example, you should pay attention to eating less high-fat foods and more high-fiber foods. You should know that reasonable diet control can effectively inhibit the malignant changes of tumors.

4. Avoid being a DINK

It is recommended that if conditions permit, you should have children at an appropriate childbearing age. Because studies have found that unmarried and childless women are much more likely to develop ovarian cysts than childbearing women. Therefore, avoiding being a DINK can also prevent ovarian cysts.
