What are the symptoms of pelvic tuberculosis?

What are the symptoms of pelvic tuberculosis?

1. Periodic fever (low fever in the afternoon, fever during menstruation, and spontaneous fever after menstruation.

3. Lower abdominal pain, pain or bloating in the lower abdomen, accompanied by low back pain, which worsens during menstruation.

4. In the early stage, it may manifest as excessive menstrual flow, prolonged menstruation, or irregular bleeding; in the late stage, it may manifest as scanty menstrual flow or even amenorrhea. Most patients are infertile.

What are the treatments for pelvic tuberculosis?

Once the diagnosis of pelvic tuberculosis is confirmed, active treatment should be given regardless of the severity of the disease, especially for patients with mild symptoms. It is difficult to be sure whether the lesions have become static or cured. This is to prevent the disease from worsening once the patient's immune function declines in the future. Even if there are no obvious symptoms, the benefits and risks should be explained to the patient and he should be persuaded to accept treatment.

Current treatment for pelvic tuberculosis includes general treatment, anti-tuberculosis drug treatment and surgical treatment.
