What causes adenomyosis?

Adenomyosis is a gynecological disease that is difficult to treat. The cause of adenomyosis is not clear, but the clinical view is that the uterus lacks a submucosal layer, which leads to the invasion of endometrial and stromal cells into the myometrium. How is adenomyosis caused?

1. Abortion and cesarean section: Some women choose cesarean section to give birth because they do not pay attention to family planning or pursue "perfection" in their daily lives. The uterine wall is damaged, causing the basal cells of the endometrium to invade the myometrium along the damaged area and grow ectopically, triggering adenomyosis.

2. High estrogen: Adenomyosis is an estrogen-dependent disease. Studies have shown that the occurrence of adenomyosis is related to excessive estrogen in the patient's body. Some women like to consume high-estrogen foods and supplements on a daily basis, such as donkey-hide gelatin, royal jelly, seafood, etc., which can easily cause excessive estrogen in the body, prompting the endometrium to develop into the myometrium, and inducing adenomyosis.

3. Genetic factors: Since the occurrence of adenomyosis shows a certain family aggregation and genetic tendency, some studies believe that the onset of adenomyosis is related to certain genetic factors.

4. Reproductive tract obstruction: Some women have reproductive tract obstruction due to congenital or acquired diseases, which prevents menstrual blood from flowing out smoothly during menstruation, increases intrauterine pressure, causes the endometrium to shift to the myometrium, and induces adenomyosis.

Precautions

There are many causes of adenomyosis, and adenomyosis is very harmful to women. Therefore, it is recommended that female friends pay attention to their own health care on a daily basis, and seek timely examination and treatment after discovering the disease.
