If female friends want to become pregnant successfully, many conditions must be met. One of the important conditions is to successfully discharge qualified follicles. The discharge of follicles by women also requires certain conditions. For example, the follicles must grow to maturity before they are discharged, and only mature follicles can combine with sperm to form a fertilized egg. 1. How big is the follicle for pregnancy? Conception is a complex physiological process that requires the following conditions: 1. The ovaries release normal eggs, and the semen is normal and contains normal sperm; 2. The egg and sperm can meet and combine in the fallopian tube to form a fertilized egg, which is then smoothly transported into the uterine cavity; 3. The endometrium is fully prepared for the implantation of the fertilized egg. How big does the follicle need to be to achieve pregnancy? Under normal circumstances, the development of follicles to 1.8-2.5cm is within the normal range. If the follicles are immature or mature but cannot be discharged, conception is impossible. Most of the characteristics of mature follicles can be monitored through B-ultrasound. 2. How big does the follicle need to be before it can be discharged? Some people will release eggs when the follicle grows to 15mm, while others will release eggs when the follicle grows to 25mm. A periodic B-ultrasound examination is all that is needed. Generally speaking, a mature egg is usually larger than 20mm, and the smallest one is larger than 18mm. When the follicle is larger than 20mm in diameter, is round in shape, has thin walls, protrudes to one side of the ovary, and has good internal sound permeability, ovulation generally occurs within 10 hours. According to B-ultrasound monitoring, ovulation usually occurs within the 12th to 18th day of menstruation, and in some cases it may occur within 20th to 30th day. 3. Ovulation Medically, follicle development is divided into 8 levels. The first five levels are too small and take too long to grow, so they do not have much practical significance. The diameter of the level 6 follicle is 5mm; after 5 days, it grows to 10mm and becomes the level 7 follicle; after another 5 days of development, it reaches the level 8 follicle with a diameter of 16mm; the level 8 follicle is the mature follicle. Therefore, it takes a total of 10 days for the 6th level follicle to grow to the 8th level follicle, which is exactly the follicular phase in a menstrual cycle. Starting from 16mm, after another 2-3 days, it will develop into a 20mm follicle and the egg will be released. |
