What causes female infertility? 6 major causes of female infertility

Infertility is a misfortune of a family. Female infertility is generally closely related to physical condition. Female infertility is caused by many factors, which may be lifestyle habits, improper diet, and gynecological diseases. These are all things that need attention.

1. Unclean sexual life

With the liberalization of sexual concepts, women have more and more chances of getting inflammatory infections due to premature sexual activity, unclean sexual life and multiple sexual partners. Due to the lack of timely and thorough treatment, ascending infection is induced, which can easily cause female infertility.

2. Repeated abortion

Nowadays, it is becoming more and more common for young women to have abortions. Repeated abortions can easily lead to damage to the basement membrane of the uterus, making it difficult for the fertilized egg to implant. Even if they manage to get pregnant, it can easily cause habitual miscarriage. At the same time, inflammation and blockage of the fallopian tubes and endometriosis caused by multiple abortions are also the main culprits of female infertility.

3. Ovulation disorders

Dysfunction of the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis in women can cause abnormal ovulation and may also lead to infertility or ectopic pregnancy.

4. Immune factors

Some couples have normal reproductive organs but just cannot get pregnant. After screening, it is found that they have produced adverse immune reactions such as anti-sperm antibodies, anti-endometrial antibodies, anti-ovarian antibodies, and anti-zona pellucida antibodies. This immune reaction will kill sperm or inhibit the combination of sperm and egg, resulting in inability to get pregnant.

5. Missing the best fertility period

A woman carries a certain amount of eggs in her lifetime. Generally speaking, by the age of 35, the good quality eggs have been used up, the pregnancy rate will decrease, and the miscarriage rate will increase. Therefore, if you want to have a child, it is best to do so before the age of 35.

6. Excessive obesity is not conducive to pregnancy

Obesity can disrupt women's endocrine system, hinder ovulation, and cause various health problems, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, etc. These diseases may also cause infertility in women and may lead to complications during pregnancy. Women who are morbidly obese also have lower success rates when attempting fertility treatments.
