What are the symptoms of fungal vaginitis?

Fungal vaginitis is a common disease of female vaginitis, and its pathogenic factor is fungal infection. Not paying attention to private hygiene and unclean sexual life are the main factors leading to this disease. After suffering from fungal vaginitis, one of the most obvious symptoms is itching and leucorrhea that is like tofu dregs. The symptoms of fungal vaginitis mainly include the following four points:

1. The vulva and vagina are extremely itchy, the leucorrhea is thick and appears to be dregs of soybean, curd or white film-like, the vaginal mucosa is red and swollen, and shallow ulcers may form in severe cases.

2. The patient experiences itching and burning pain in the vulva. In severe cases, the patient will be restless and suffer extreme pain.

3. There may also be frequent urination, painful urination and pain during intercourse.

4. In the acute phase, the amount of leucorrhea increases, and the typical leucorrhea is white, thick and resembling bean curd residue. Examination showed a white film attached to the inner side of the vulva and the vaginal mucosa, which could be wiped off to reveal the red and swollen mucosal surface. In the acute phase, erosions and superficial ulcers covered by white membranes can be seen. Candida albicans can be found in the secretions.
