Trichomonas vaginitis is a vaginal inflammation caused by Trichomonas infection. Trichomonas is a type of trichomonas that parasitizes the human body and is highly contagious. Trichomonas is divided into human Trichomonas, oral Trichomonas and vaginal Trichomonas. When you do not pay attention to private hygiene and have unclean sexual life, you are prone to Trichomonas infection and cause vaginal inflammation. Trichomonas is pear-shaped with a pointed rear end and is about 2 to 3 times the size of a multinucleated leukocyte. There are four flagella at the top of the insect body, a wavy membrane on the body, and an axial column protruding at the rear end. Living Trichomonas are transparent and colorless, in the shape of water droplets, and their flagella swing with the fluctuation of the oscillating membrane. The life history of Trichomonas is simple, with only trophozoites but no encapsulated stage. The trophozoites have strong vitality and can survive for 2 days at 3-5°C and 20-60 minutes at 46°C; they can survive for about 10 hours in a semi-dry environment; and they can also survive for 45-120 minutes in ordinary soapy water. It will not grow in an environment with a pH below 5 or above 7.5. The vaginal pH value of patients with Trichomonas vaginitis is generally 5.1-5.4. Trichomonas hidden in the glands and vaginal folds can often reproduce before and after menstruation, causing inflammation. It can consume or engulf the glycogen in the vaginal epithelial cells and hinder the production of lactic acid. Trichomonas not only parasitizes the vagina. It also often invades the urethra or paraurethral glands, and even the bladder, renal pelvis, and the foreskin folds, urethra or prostate of men. Trichomonas vaginitis is a vaginal inflammation caused by infection with Trichomonas vaginalis. It is one of the most common vaginal inflammations. The main clinical manifestations are increased leucorrhea, thin foamy texture, foul odor, and vaginal itching. The disease occurs because the infection of Trichomonas vaginalis consumes the glycogen in the vagina, destroys the self-cleaning defense function of the vagina, and causes secondary bacterial infection. |
