Women with low back pain should be alert to gynecological inflammation

Many female friends have the "old problem" of low back pain, and many people mistakenly believe that it is a problem with the lumbar spine. In fact, low back pain can be caused by many factors. For women, menstrual disorders, leucorrhea, pregnancy diseases, gynecological diseases and sequelae of contraceptive surgery can all induce low back pain. Therefore, when women experience pain symptoms, they must not just focus on the waist, because low back pain may be caused by some gynecological inflammation. Common gynecological inflammations that can cause low back pain include: cervicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and vaginitis.

Cervical inflammation:

There are two types of cervicitis: acute and chronic. Chronic cervicitis is more common and often manifests as cervical erosion. Long-term chronic mechanical stimulation is the main cause of cervicitis. Cervical erosion is caused by the infiltration of inflammatory secretions, the shedding of the cervical squamous epithelium, and its replacement by the columnar epithelium of the endocervical canal. The main symptoms of cervicitis are excessive and yellow vaginal discharge, cervical congestion, edema, lumbosacral pain, a feeling of heaviness in the pelvic area, and dysmenorrhea.

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease:

Pelvic inflammatory disease is a disease of women. It is a common disease in the department of obstetrics and gynecology, and its main symptoms are: increased leucorrhea, fever, abdominal pain, sometimes feeling nausea and general fatigue. If the disease is not cured for a long time, it may easily cause inflammation in nearby organs such as fallopian tubes, leading to chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility.

Vaginitis is caused by a variety of reasons. A general term for inflammatory diseases of the intestinal mucosa. The main clinical manifestations are increased leucorrhea, which is either yellow or smelly, genital itching, local erosion, accompanied by frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating, and sometimes a dull pain in the lower back.

2. Cold and dampness-related low back pain: It is mainly caused by wind and dampness invading the waist. The pain is localized and now is cold pain. The pain is aggravated on rainy days. For this kind of waist pain, you should pay attention to keeping your waist warm while standing daily.

3. Low back pain due to blood stasis: This type of low back pain is more common, and the pain manifests as local tingling and needle-like pain. The reason is that lumbar muscle strain or sprain causes local congestion and poor blood circulation. People of this type should be careful not to sit or stand for long periods of time.
