Why do I bleed before my period?

Why do I bleed before my period?

Menstruation is a very important thing for women. Normal menstruation is related to the physical health of female friends. Abnormal menstruation is related to various physical reasons, such as low mood, mood swings, age, disease and so on. In particular, some women will bleed when they don't have their period. What is going on?

There are two main reasons for a small amount of bleeding before the menstrual period : ovulation bleeding and functional uterine bleeding. Women may experience ovulation bleeding during the ovulation period, which usually occurs in the middle of the menstrual cycle. A small amount of bleeding between two normal menstrual periods may be accompanied by mild abdominal pain. This is a physiological factor and generally does not require treatment, unless the amount of bleeding is relatively large, in which case drug treatment is required. There is also irregular vaginal bleeding. This phenomenon may be caused by the influence of disease factors, especially various gynecological diseases, such as cervical polyps, acute vaginitis, severe cervical erosion, uterine submucous fibroids, etc. Women with IUDs may also experience a small amount of bleeding before the menstrual period, usually with some blood mixed in the leucorrhea. In fact, in addition to the two types mentioned above, there is also contact bleeding, that is, bleeding due to contact with the cervix after sexual intercourse or after a gynecological examination.

A small amount of bleeding before the menstrual period will also be affected by diet, lifestyle, mental factors and environmental factors, so we must take some precautions in our daily life. Female friends who experience this phenomenon should pay attention to rest and drink plenty of water to help digestion and keep bowel movements smooth; maintain a regular life, pay attention to the combination of work and rest, avoid excessive fatigue, and keep away from cold and dampness; do not go on a diet, pay attention to your own dietary structure, eat more lean meat, cereals, dark green leafy vegetables and calcium-rich foods, vegetables and fruits, whole grains, whole wheat bread, brown rice and other foods contain more fiber, which can promote the excretion of estrogen, increase the magnesium content in the blood, regulate menstruation and calm nerves, so you can eat more appropriately, and try not to eat raw, cold and stimulating foods; quit smoking and limit alcohol; keep a good mood, pay attention to exercise, and improve physical fitness.
