3. Massage the Jiuwei point

In the upper abdomen, on the anterior midline, 1 B-cun inferior to the sternocostal junction.

Massage method: Sit down. Use one palm to gently tap the sternum from Tiantu point to Tanzhong point for 2 minutes, at a slow speed. Then, from one pectoralis major muscle through the sternum to the other pectoralis major muscle, use the wrist to lead the palm and four fingers to make rhythmic clapping for 2 minutes.

4. Massage Guanyuan acupoint

On the anterior midline of the lower abdomen, 3 inches below the navel.

Massage method: Sit down. Use one palm to push from Tanzhong to Guanyuan points from top to bottom for 2 minutes, then rub from top to bottom in clockwise and counterclockwise directions for 2 minutes each, and finally press and rub the Jiuwei point with your thumb. Be careful not to use too much force.
