Symptoms of menopausal palpitations, these manifestations are the most obvious

When people reach menopause, they will experience many uncomfortable symptoms, one of which is palpitations. In addition, they will also be accompanied by many abnormal symptoms such as insomnia, sweating, dizziness, headache, decreased libido, and decreased physical strength.

1. When female friends enter menopause, they will experience a series of menopausal symptoms, such as palpitations. Of course, not every menopausal woman will experience this symptom, but there are also many women who experience palpitations. So, what should we do about menopausal palpitations? Below, I will introduce three tips for relieving menopausal palpitations.

2. Because the estrogen concentration in the blood of menopausal women decreases and the level of pituitary gonadotropin increases, once the autonomic nervous system goes from a balanced state to an unbalanced state, symptoms of varying severity may occur, including cardiovascular palpitations. The heart rate is particularly prone to changes and the symptoms are more obvious, but are often accompanied by other autonomic nervous system dysfunction phenomena, such as headache, insomnia, and irritability.

3. When it comes to menopause, many middle-aged and elderly people are terrified, because menopause is the peak period for many diseases, and it is also easy to cause some abnormal physiological phenomena, which can also greatly affect the mood. For example, palpitations are very likely to occur during menopause. When palpitations occur, many people have no obvious symptoms, while some people feel panic, shortness of breath, and pain behind the sternum.

4. Heart palpitations are medically called arrhythmia or heart palpitations. At that time, the heart's contraction rate increases to 100-140 times per minute. Its occurrence is caused by the stimulation of the sinoatrial node of the heart. Healthy people may experience sinus tachycardia after physical labor or when they are emotionally excited, which is within the physiological range. Women also often experience palpitations during pregnancy. The occurrence of palpitations can be considered as a simple functional difference unless organic lesions are found. Palpitations are mostly paroxysmal, with the heart rate gradually increasing and then gradually recovering, but it is more likely to change. When palpitations occur, many people have no obvious symptoms, while some people feel panic, shortness of breath and pain behind the sternum. People with autonomic dysfunction are particularly prone to changes in heart rate, and the symptoms are more obvious, but they are often accompanied by other autonomic dysfunction phenomena, such as headaches, insomnia, and irritability.

5. In menopausal women, due to decreased estrogen concentration in the blood and increased levels of pituitary gonadotropin, once the autonomic nervous system goes from a balanced state to an unbalanced state, symptoms of varying severity may occur, including cardiovascular palpitations. There may be a brief rise in blood pressure, stabbing pain in the precordial area or at an unfixed location, etc.; sometimes even difficulty breathing, heavy gasping, and a flat T wave on the electrocardiogram, but they can recover on their own and the electrocardiogram will become normal. Various examinations show no evidence of organic heart disease. During physical examination, the pulsation of the carotid artery is consistent with the heart rate. Pressing the carotid sinus on one side can gradually slow down the heart rate, which is a characteristic of palpitations.
