How many days can an ectopic pregnancy be detected?

The occurrence of ectopic pregnancy is quite harmful, so it is necessary to discover it in time and take timely treatment measures to reduce the harm as much as possible. Vaginal bleeding usually occurs 6-8 days after menstruation, and symptoms of abdominal pain and bleeding will also appear.

1. How long it takes to discover an ectopic pregnancy is related to whether the patient has symptoms on the one hand, and whether the patient pays attention to her personal health on the other hand; the early symptoms of ectopic pregnancy are the same as pregnancy. Most patients have delayed menstruation. Generally, patients can do an ultrasound to find the gestational sac 5 days after the delay in menstruation, but some patients mistake vaginal bleeding for a normal menstruation.

2. However, for most patients, they only find out that they have an ectopic pregnancy when they experience symptoms. Usually, it is 6-8 weeks after menopause. They suddenly experience abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding, and soon develop fainting, cold sweats and other symptoms. They go to the hospital for examination and find out that they have an ectopic pregnancy!

3. Amenorrhea: Before ectopic pregnancy, there is often a short-term amenorrhea or delayed menstruation for several days, and the urine HCG test is positive.

4. Abdominal pain: It is the most common symptom, mostly located in the lower abdomen. It is often mistaken for dysmenorrhea and appendicitis.

5. Vaginal bleeding: The most common thing is a small amount of vaginal bleeding after menopause. Some people regard it as menstruation, but it is different from real menstruation. For example, the amount of bleeding is relatively small, or the color is dark. A few people bleed heavily.

6. Shock: If an ectopic pregnancy ruptures, heavy bleeding will accumulate in the abdominal cavity, and the patient may experience shock, manifested by fainting, confusion, and low blood pressure.
