Do you understand the knowledge about laparoscopic surgery for ovarian cyst?

When ovarian cysts develop to a certain extent, patients can undergo surgical treatment. Today, the most advanced surgery is laparoscopic surgery, which has many advantages, such as less trauma, less pain for the patient, shorter hospitalization time, etc.

1. Laparoscopic surgery is a newly developed minimally invasive method and an inevitable trend in the development of future surgical methods. With the rapid development of industrial manufacturing technology, the integration of related disciplines has laid a solid foundation for the development of new technologies and new methods. Coupled with the increasingly sophisticated operations of doctors, many of the open surgeries in the past have now been replaced by endovascular surgeries, greatly increasing the opportunities for surgical options. The traditional method of retroperitoneoscopic surgery is to make three small 1 cm incisions on the patient's waist and insert a tubular working channel called a "trocar" into each incision. All subsequent operations are performed through these three tubes. Special extended surgical instruments are then used to complete the same steps as open surgery under television monitoring to achieve the same surgical effect.

2. Surgical Procedure

The so-called laparoscopic surgery is to make several small incisions with a diameter of 5 to 12 mm in different parts of the abdomen. Cameras and various special surgical instruments are inserted through these small incisions. The images of various organs in the abdominal cavity taken by the camera inserted into the abdominal cavity are transmitted to the TV screen. The surgeon observes the images and uses various surgical instruments to operate outside the body to complete the operation.

1. The surgery is less invasive;

2. Patients recover quickly after surgery;

3. Short hospital stay;

4. The patient had minimal postoperative pain;

5. The abdominal incision scar is small and beautiful;

6The treatment effect is the same as that of open surgery.

3. Advantages

1. Laparoscopic surgery causes little disturbance to the abdominal organs, avoiding the irritation and contamination of the abdominal cavity by air and dust and bacteria in the air. During the operation, electrocute and electrocoagulation are the main methods. The blood vessels are coagulated first and then cut, which stops the bleeding completely and causes minimal bleeding. Before the end of the operation, the abdominal cavity is thoroughly flushed to keep it clean.

Therefore, the intestinal function recovers quickly after surgery, and patients can eat earlier, which greatly reduces the factors of postoperative intestinal adhesion.

2. Laparoscopic surgery is a representative of truly minimally invasive surgery, which greatly reduces trauma, and the surgical process and postoperative recovery are easy and less painful.

3. Patients can get out of bed early after surgery and their sleeping posture is relatively free, which greatly reduces the intensity of family members' accompanying care.

4. The puncture holes in the abdominal wall are small (ranging from 3 to 10 mm), dispersed and hidden, and will not affect the appearance after healing.

5. General anesthesia is generally used, and all monitoring measures are complete, which greatly increases safety.

6. Puncture infection is much less likely than incision infection or fat liquefaction during traditional surgery.

7. Abdominal wall puncture replaces abdominal wall incision, avoiding damage to abdominal wall muscles, blood vessels and corresponding nerves. There will be no abdominal wall weakness and abdominal wall incision hernia after the operation, the motor function will not be affected by abdominal wall muscle scarring, and there will be no corresponding skin numbness caused by abdominal wall nerve cutting.
