How are chocolate cysts formed?

Every woman should pay attention to preventing chocolate cysts, because it is a disease with a relatively high incidence rate. Sometimes it is caused by maladaptive living habits and ways, such as polluted living environment, multiple miscarriages, and excessive stress. These problems are all inducements.

1. Living environment reasons

Many female friends may develop ovarian cysts due to the pollution of their living environment, such as frequent irritating odors or dust in the air, excessive noise, and living in an environment with high chemical content.

2. Physiological reasons

Under normal circumstances, a woman's endometrium grows in the uterine cavity. With the arrival of a woman's menstrual period every month, it will peel off and begin to thicken and grow again. However, as the endometrium begins to grow in the female ovaries, this part of the endometrium does not leave the body during the menstrual period, but accumulates in the ovaries. As the endometrium growing in the ovaries continues to thicken, the accumulated endometrium will become more and more, causing cysts to appear in the ovaries.

3. Childbirth, multiple miscarriages, etc.

Chocolate cysts are mainly caused by the fact that endometrial fragments shed from the uterine wall during menstruation cannot be completely discharged from the vagina due to poor drainage, and a small amount of them flow back into the pelvic cavity through the fallopian tubes. Anything that can affect the flow of menstrual blood from the vagina, including vaginal occlusion, narrow cervix, retroverted uterus, cervical adhesions after multiple abortions, and sexual intercourse during menstruation, can promote the occurrence of chocolate cysts.

4. Frequent sexual intercourse

If a couple has sex too frequently, it can also cause chocolate cysts, which are more common in adolescent girls and women.

5. Fallopian tube obstruction

Every month, the unfertilized follicles in the ovaries become waste and need to be excreted. The waste must be squeezed out by the body's hydraulic pressure. However, due to your hypofunction and blockage of the fallopian tubes, the waste cannot be excreted. The eggs that cannot be excreted accumulate in the ovaries, forming chocolate cysts.

6. Too much stress

This is the main cause of ovarian chocolate cysts. Long-term mental stress can cause autonomic nervous system dysfunction and affect the body's endocrine regulation, resulting in premature ovarian function decline, reduced estrogen secretion, and early onset of menopause.
