What are the symptoms of tuberculosis?

Women with menstrual tuberculosis should be taken seriously. They are usually prone to symptoms of palpitations and irritability, repeated attacks of gynecological inflammation, and may also experience lower abdominal pain, endometrial hyperplasia, weakness in the limbs, etc. Pay attention to these symptoms and adjust the treatment in time.

1. In the early stages of menstrual tuberculosis, patients feel anxious and irritable, have irregular menstruation (mainly manifested by decreased menstrual volume), loss of appetite, repeated attacks of inflammation (adnexitis, pelvic inflammatory disease), occasional pain in the lower abdomen, which becomes more and more painful over time, and the painful area tends to move to the upper abdomen over time; or they often feel hardness or bloating in the stomach.

2. Have you had sexual intercourse within 40 days after delivery or within 30 days after miscarriage? The closer you are to giving birth or miscarriage, the more likely you are to get this disease. On the contrary, if you have sexual intercourse within 40 days or 30 days, the possibility of contracting the disease is lower. The frequency and extent of sexual intercourse also have a great impact on whether or not you get this disease. If you have sex many times, and each time lasts longer, and you ejaculate inside, then the possibility of getting this disease is much greater.

3. The incubation period of tuberculosis varies greatly depending on the individual's situation. Some people have more obvious symptoms a few months after giving birth. Some people do not show obvious symptoms until several years after giving birth. The most obvious symptoms in the early stages are: patients feel palpitations, irritability, irregular menstruation (mainly manifested as decreased menstrual volume), loss of appetite, weakness in the limbs, endometrial hyperplasia, repeated attacks of inflammation (adnexitis, pelvic inflammatory disease), occasional pain in the lower abdomen, which becomes more and more painful over time, and the area of pain tends to move to the upper abdomen over time; or patients often feel hardness or bloating in the stomach.

4. Some patients in the middle and late stages particularly want to eat foods with a slightly fishy smell, such as eggs, fish, eels, and pork liver. In addition to the more severe inflammation and lower abdominal pain mentioned above, there is a type of patients who sometimes experience edema in the body, including the face and especially the limbs. There is a type of patient who does not have swelling but is extremely anemic, with extremely thin limbs. The water content and blood color become increasingly deteriorating, and eventually they become just skin and bones.
