Women's leucorrhea has a special function. If the leucorrhea is too much or too little, or has color, it is abnormal. Changes in leucorrhea indicate that something is wrong with the body. Excessive leucorrhea may be due to vaginitis or cervical erosion, which requires symptomatic treatment and correct medication. 1. Bacterial vaginitis causes yellow, heavy, and foul-smelling leucorrhea, accompanied by redness, swelling, and burning pain in the vulva, as well as frequent, urgent, and painful urination. You can use enhanced sulfonated tablets, two tablets each time, three times a day. 2. Trichomonas vaginitis This type of leucorrhea is the most common, with itching and tingling in the vulva, and even a crawling sensation. The amount of leucorrhea increases significantly, with white foam and a sour odor. You can choose metronidazole tablets, take 200 mg three times a day. 3. Candidal vaginitis causes severe itching of the vulva, vaginal stinging, and excessive vaginal discharge in the form of tofu dregs or curd. Nystatin suppositories (10,000 units) can be used and inserted into the vagina once a night for a course of 10 days. Normal leucorrhea is composed of a mixture of vaginal mucosal exudates, cervical secretions and some endometrial secretions. It has no odor and the amount discharged varies from individual to individual, which is related to the estrogen level in the body and the degree of genital congestion. In addition to physiological reasons or physical deterioration that can easily lead to increased vaginal discharge, it is also caused by infectious diseases. If the discharge is heavy, yellow and foamy, and accompanied by vulvar itching, you may have Trichomonas vaginitis; If the discharge is bean curd-like and the vulva is extremely itchy, you may be infected with candidal vaginitis; If the discharge is heavy, yellow and purulent, and your partner has a history of promiscuity, you may have gonococcal vaginitis. If you have already gone through menopause, and your vaginal discharge increases, is yellow, and you have vaginal burning, itching, or pain, or vulvar itching, it may be senile vaginitis. If vaginal discharge increases, it may also be cervical erosion; if accompanied by abdominal pain, it may be pelvic inflammatory disease; If your vaginal discharge is watery or bloody with a foul odor, or if you experience vaginal bleeding or irregular bleeding after intercourse, you should be alert to the possibility of cervical cancer or endometrial cancer. From this we can see that vaginal discharge is a signal of the health of the female reproductive system. Once abnormal secretions occur, you should seek medical attention as soon as possible to avoid delaying the condition. It can only be confirmed after examination by a doctor, and different vaginitis treatments are different. Do not use medication indiscriminately, otherwise it may aggravate the condition. |
