What is the cause of irregular menstruation and back pain?

Irregular menstruation is a disease that many women have. Generally, irregular menstruation means that the menstruation comes irregularly and may occur at intervals of a long time. So what is the reason for irregular menstruation and back pain?

Irregular menstruation, also known as menstrual disorders, is a common gynecological disease, manifested by abnormal menstrual cycle or bleeding volume, or abdominal pain and systemic symptoms before and during menstruation. The cause may be organic lesions or functional disorders. Many systemic diseases such as blood diseases, hypertension, liver diseases, endocrine diseases, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, hydatidiform mole, reproductive tract infection, tumors (such as ovarian tumors, uterine fibroids), etc. can cause menstrual disorders.

Experts point out that, strictly speaking, back pain is not a disease, but a symptom. It is a pain that starts from the lower back spine, involves bones, joints, muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments, etc., and then radiates to the buttocks and limbs. The causes of back pain vary among women of different ages.

Reason 1: Pregnancy

After pregnancy, the supporting strength of the pregnant woman's abdominal muscles decreases and the spine has to bear more pressure. At the same time, incorrect sitting posture, changes in hormone levels and other reasons can also cause loose joints. This back pain will disappear with the birth of the baby. Therefore, pregnant women should control their weight, avoid bending, twisting, lifting heavy objects, and avoid sitting or standing for long periods of time.

Reason 2: Too big breasts

Overly large breasts can affect the normal physiological curvature and stress points of the spine. "Overweight" breasts can cause changes in the spine. Therefore, women with large breasts must wear suitable bras. It is best to wear a tight bra when exercising to reduce the burden on the back.

Reason 3: Osteoporosis

This is the number one cause of back pain. Because women's bones are thinner and lighter than men's, they are more likely to develop osteoporosis. Once osteoporosis occurs, the thickness of the spine will change, the person will become shorter, and there will be problems with force application, which usually causes women to have back pain earlier and last longer. Therefore, women should insist on exercising, taking calcium supplements in time, getting more sun exposure, and supplementing estrogen at the right time from a young age. If the condition is really serious, appropriate medication, auxiliary physical therapy and other means should be used to relieve the symptoms.
