Method: Wash each item separately. Cut fresh yam into pieces; remove the pits from the red dates; and cut the lean pork into pieces. Put them together with ginger in a clay pot, add 2500 ml of water (about 10 bowls), boil over high heat, then simmer for about 1.5 hours on low heat, add the slaughtered and cleaned pigeon, continue to simmer for another half an hour, and add salt.

Ingredients: half a cup of purple rice (measuring cup), 50 grams of lotus seeds, 20 grams of rock sugar, and 6 bowls of water.
