Huang Gongxiu, a doctor in the Qing Dynasty, also said: "Compared with Sichuan pepper, pepper is even hotter, and it is effective in treating all conditions caused by the decline of fire and the entry of cold." According to Chinese medicine theory, there is a difference between the decline of fire and the entry of cold. The decline of fire refers to the decline of the body's own yang energy, while the entry of cold refers to the invasion of cold evil. Pepper has strong ability to dispel cold but weak ability to warm the yang. As Huang Gongxiu said, "Pepper only has the power to dispel cold and evil, unlike cinnamon and aconite, which have the magic function of replenishing fire and benefiting the vital energy." However, people with yang deficiency are easily attacked by cold evil, so it is also suitable to eat it.

3. People with yang deficiency and fear of cold should

In terms of diet, you can eat more warming foods such as beef, mutton, leek, ginger, etc., eat less raw and cold foods such as pears, watermelon, water chestnuts, drink less green tea, and you can also have angelica ginger mutton soup, etc.
