How to lose weight with phlegm-damp constitution? Diet for weight loss

Phlegm-dampness constitution is one of the nine major constitutions in traditional Chinese medicine. People with phlegm-damp constitution are often obese, especially with fat accumulation in the abdomen, and they are prone to drowsiness and have a fondness for sweets. People with phlegm-dampness constitution tend to have waste accumulation in the human body. So how can people with phlegm-dampness constitution lose weight?

1. Eat a light diet

1: First of all, in terms of diet, you should avoid sweets, quit drinking, and avoid overeating and eating too fast. Eat less fried and pan-fried foods with high fat content. You should often eat foods with light taste and warm nature, eat more vegetables and fruits, especially those foods that have the effects of strengthening the spleen and eliminating dampness, resolving blood stasis and removing phlegm.

But be sure to eat breakfast. The less you eat breakfast, the heavier the dampness will be. Eating breakfast is the first step to improve phlegm-damp constitution and lose weight. Because skipping breakfast will obstruct the liver and gallbladder's function of secreting, affect the spleen and stomach, and aggravate phlegm and dampness.

Recommended foods: papaya, white radish, jujube, red bean, yam, coix seed, beef, mutton, silver carp, lemon, cherry, chestnut, etc. Taboo foods: maltose, pomegranate, grapefruit, loquat, sugar, etc.

2. Weight loss diet

1: Yam and Winter Melon Soup: Put 50 grams of yam and 150 grams of winter melon into the pot and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes. Season and drink. It can strengthen the spleen, replenish qi and eliminate dampness.

2: Red bean carp soup: remove the scales, gills and internal organs of a live carp (about 800 grams); fill the fish belly with 50 grams of red beans, 10 grams of tangerine peel, 6 grams of chili and 6 grams of cardamom, put it in a bowl, add appropriate amount of cooking wine, ginger, scallion, pepper and a little salt.

Cabbage and radish soup: 2 cabbage leaves, 80 grams each of white radish and carrot, half a block of tofu (about 200 grams). Wash the cabbage, white radish, carrot and tofu, cut into strips of similar size, blanch them in boiling water and set aside. Pour in clear soup, put the white radish, carrot and tofu into the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, add the cabbage, bring to a boil again, season with salt and MSG, and finally sprinkle with chopped coriander and serve. It can eliminate phlegm, clear heat and aid digestion.

3. Avoid using the popular abdominal

Weight loss products that use laxatives as the main method, because these products are very harmful to the spleen and stomach. Once used, they often result in a slight reduction in weight, but the body becomes more bloated. In addition, the so-called "detoxification and beauty" concept is not suitable for women with this physique.
