What to do if you get burned? Emergency treatment for burns

In daily life, some small accidents are inevitable, and these accidents sometimes lead to physical illnesses, such as burns. Burns are a very common accidental injury in life. People should take emergency measures after being burned to ensure that the wound heals well.

1: Emergency treatment of burns

1: If you get scalded at home, take an egg, crack it, take the egg white, add a little sesame oil, mix them together, stir well, and apply it to the burned area. This will reduce inflammation and relieve pain, which is a very effective trick. You might as well give it a try.

2: If you get burned and happen to have a pear at hand, quickly cut a few thin slices of pear and stick them on the burned area. This will have an astringent and analgesic effect, which is also a good way to treat burns. I suggest you try it.

3: First rinse the injured area with cold water, then soak the injured area in cold water for half an hour. Generally speaking, the earlier the soaking time and the lower the water temperature (not lower than 5℃ to avoid frostbite), the better the effect. However, if the wound has blistered and broken, do not soak it to prevent infection.

For mild burns, you can roast dry tea leaves over fire until they are slightly charred, grind them into powder, mix them with vegetable oil to make a paste, and apply it to the injured area to reduce swelling and relieve pain.

When the skin of hands or feet is scalded, immediately pour alcohol into a basin or bucket and immerse the entire injured area in the alcohol. This will relieve pain, reduce redness and prevent blistering. If soaked for 1 to 2 hours, the scalded skin can gradually return to normal. If the injured area is not in a location that is easily soaked, you can soak a piece of cotton wool in white wine, take it out and apply it to the injured area, and keep pouring wine on the cotton wool at any time to prevent it from drying out. Good results can be obtained even after several hours.

After the skin is scalded by oil or boiling water, you can apply Fengyoujing, Wanhua Oil or vegetable oil (such as sesame oil) directly to the wound. If the skin is not broken, the pain can usually be relieved in 5 minutes.

2: If the burn is serious,

It is recommended that all patients go to the hospital for treatment to avoid more serious injuries caused by improper treatment.
