After a woman's ovaries become diseased, her private parts will become thicker

When beauties first consider weight loss methods such as dieting, exercise, and even liposuction, they often overlook that obesity may itself be a mask for a disease. If a woman finds that her waist and abdomen continue to thicken, it is very necessary to go to the hospital to check for ovarian disease.

Ms. Liu, 38 years old, was gaining weight in her abdomen. At first, she thought she was obese, but dieting and exercise did not help and she continued to gain weight. Recently, I thought of going to the hospital for treatment because I had symptoms such as loss of appetite, fatigue, and shortness of breath when climbing stairs. Unexpectedly, during the B-ultrasound examination, the doctor found a huge mass in Miss Liu's pelvic and abdominal cavity.

Subsequently, led by Professor Chen Chunlin of the Department of Gynecology at Southern Hospital, doctors performed surgery on Ms. Liu and removed a 7-kg mass that was larger than a volleyball. Intraoperative frozen laboratory tests showed right ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma.

Chen Chunlin said that although ovarian malignant tumor is one of the three most common malignant tumors of the female reproductive system, ovarian tumors as large as this are still very rare. Miss Liu was too careless. In addition, the ovaries are located deep in the pelvic cavity, and early lesions are difficult to detect. She only came to the doctor when she developed symptoms such as loss of appetite and fatigue.

It is worth reminding that although treatment methods such as surgery and chemotherapy have been continuously improved in recent years, the five-year survival rate of ovarian malignant tumors still hovers around 30%-40%, and the mortality rate ranks first among gynecological malignant tumors, seriously threatening women's lives and health. In addition, since ovarian cancer is more common in women around 40 years old, and these people are housewives at home and often backbones at work, they neglect their own health due to busy work, which is also a major reason for their late medical treatment.

Therefore, experts recommend that women who have given birth should have regular ultrasound examinations at least once a year. Especially those with high-risk factors such as infertility, a history of ovarian tumors, and a family history of ovarian cancer should strengthen ovarian monitoring.

It is very common for women to have a thick waist, and there are many reasons for this. But after reading this article, you must never ignore ovarian disease again. So, when you find that your waist continues to get thicker, check it out immediately. If you really have ovarian disease, you must seek treatment immediately.
