In this regard, the sleeping postures in traditional Chinese medicine are nothing more than lying on your back, lying on your stomach, and lying on your side. Sleep health emphasizes not to stay in one posture for a long time:

First of all, the most unfavorable sleeping position for women’s breasts is sleeping on your stomach. Lying prone is the most unfavorable to health. This posture can easily put pressure on the chest. For growing girls, this posture will also affect the development of the chest cage and breasts, so try to avoid it.

Secondly, sleeping in the supine position for a long time will have an adverse effect on women's uterus. This is because in the normal anatomy of the female reproductive system, the position of the uterus should be in an anteriorly bent and anteflexed position, while sleeping in the supine position can easily lead to a posteriorly positioned uterus.

When a woman sleeps in a supine position, the longitudinal axis of the uterus is approximately at a 45-degree angle to the bed surface. In addition, the weight of urine in the bladder will press the uterus backwards, damaging the ligaments that fix the uterus, thus causing a posterior uterus. A posterior uterus can easily lead to problems such as dysmenorrhea and heavy menstrual flow, and in severe cases it can even lead to infertility. In addition, if pregnant women sleep in a supine position for a long time, the increased weight of the uterus may compress the inferior vena cava, affecting the return of blood in the inferior vena cava.

For women, the most natural sleeping position is the side-lying position. Lying on the right side will not compress the heart or affect gastrointestinal motility, and is generally better than lying on the left side. Traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes that the average person changes their sleeping positions several times each night. Even if you lie on your right side, if you maintain this position for a long time, it will have an adverse effect on your shoulder joint.

Women take care of their uterus

1. Don’t indulge in promiscuity

When a man's mucus enters a woman's body, the cervix will adapt to a certain extent. However, when there are too many types of mucus, the cervix will lose its adaptability and inflammation may occur if one is not careful. In addition, if it is unclean sexual intercourse, the uterus will be the first victim. Pathogens can enter the uterine cavity through the vagina and cause endometrial infection.

High-fat foods promote the production and release of certain hormones, and the formation of uterine fibroids is related to large amounts of estrogen stimulation. Adhere to a low-fat diet, drink plenty of water, and avoid spicy, alcoholic, frozen and other foods.

3. Pay attention to whether menstruation and leucorrhea are normal

If you find an increase in leucorrhea or abnormal menstrual bleeding, you should seek medical attention promptly and undergo relevant examinations to ensure early detection and treatment.

4. Don’t hold back your urgency

We are taught from a young age not to hold our urges because it causes metabolic waste to be reabsorbed back into the body. The latest research shows that when you hold back the urge to urinate, the residue in the urine is easily deposited in the bladder, causing urinary tract infection. The female urethra and vagina are very close, and urinary tract infection can easily spread to the reproductive system and cause inflammation. When you hold back your urgency, the bladder expands and puts a certain degree of pressure on the uterus.

5. Don’t sit for too long

The survey shows that the rate of endometriosis among office ladies is 21% higher than that among housewives. Because more than 70% of office ladies have to sit in the office for more than 6 hours a day, long-term sitting and lack of normal exercise lead to blood circulation disorders, causing endometrial tissue hyperplasia and the formation of endometriosis.

6. Keep your uterus warm

Experts recommend not eating raw or cold food during the menstrual period. It is best to let the body sweat slightly so that the uterus will not feel cold.

7. Check your cervix annually and treat any disease early

Experts say all sexually active women should get an annual Pap smear test, which can be repeated every two years until age 70 if the test is normal for three years in a row. 90% of cervical diseases can be prevented if detected in time.
