Do birth control pills cause infertility?

In fact, I don’t need to introduce too much. I believe everyone can understand that long-term use of contraceptives will cause some uncontrollable harm to the female body, such as infertility, endocrine disorders, menstrual disorders, etc. These are all serious hazards to women’s health. Therefore, we still clinically recommend that women do not take contraceptives for a long time. It is best to adopt safer and more effective contraceptive methods.

Generally speaking, emergency contraceptive pills are harmful to the body and should not be taken more than twice a year. Emergency contraception refers to a short-term remedial measure to prevent pregnancy taken shortly after sexual intercourse without contraception or contraception failure. It can only be used occasionally and only has a remedial effect on the previous sexual intercourse. It has no effect on sexual intercourse after taking the medicine and cannot replace conventional contraceptive methods.

Short-acting contraceptives have extremely high contraceptive reliability. As long as you take the medicine as prescribed, you don’t have to worry about contraceptive failure. In addition, contraceptives can also improve the symptoms of menstrual cycle disorders, such as relieving dysmenorrhea, adjusting the menstrual cycle, reducing menstrual volume, etc., which have a beneficial effect on women's reproductive health. Although short-acting contraceptives have the advantages of being easy to use and having reliable effects, they are not suitable for all women. Women who suffer from acute or chronic hepatitis, diabetes, venous thrombosis and other diseases should not take contraceptives.

Although long-acting oral contraceptives are a drug with relatively good contraceptive effects, they are not only simple and efficient, but also easy to use. However, many women may experience symptoms of dizziness and nausea when taking them for the first time. Healthy women with such symptoms can continue to take them, but women with hepatitis, nephritis, diabetes and other diseases cannot take them.
