Will endometrial polyps disappear?

Endometrial polyps will disappear after active treatment, but if they are not actively treated, the condition will become more and more serious and may even become malignant. Therefore, treatment of patients with this disease is necessary. Endometrial polyps are extremely harmful to the body. They can cause female infertility, prolong the menstrual period, significantly increase the menstrual volume, lead to menstrual disorders, and cause prolonged menstruation.

Patients with endometrial polyps should pay attention and adhere to standardized treatment. Patients receiving hormone therapy should follow their doctor's orders and take the medication for 3-6 months, correctly understand the side effects of the medication, and follow up if they have any special discomfort while taking the medication. Patients are prohibited from having sexual intercourse within one month after surgery and must undergo an outpatient review one month after discharge.

Pay attention to hygiene during menstruation and postpartum period, avoid sexual intercourse during menstruation, and mothers should start doing postpartum exercises as early as possible to prevent retroverted uterus. Paying attention to diet and avoiding overly cold and greasy foods, medicines, and raw or cold products can help relieve pain.

The diet should consist of light, nutritious and easily digestible food. Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, and avoid raw, cold, spicy, fried, fatty and stimulating foods. For those with qi stagnation and blood stasis: You can take motherwort soup or brown sugar soup before and during menstruation to help the menstrual blood to be discharged smoothly and relieve pain; you can also stew black chicken with Panax notoginseng.

For those with cold stagnation and blood stasis: take ginger and brown sugar soup, mugwort decoction, or drink an appropriate amount of hot rice wine to warm the meridians and dispel cold, promote qi and relieve pain; for those with qi deficiency and blood stasis: take angelica blood-nourishing soup or angelica mutton soup before and after menstruation, and usually take yam, jujube, longan meat, etc.; for those with heat stagnation and blood stasis: take fresh fruit juice and watermelon juice orally when having fever, eat more vegetables, fruits and honey, and take Ma Ren Wan 9g once a night when necessary to keep the bowel movements smooth.

In addition, even if you suffer from endometrial polyps, you should still do proper physical exercise. Women who participate in more physical exercise can make the immune system more sound and increase the phagocytic activity of true white blood cells, which is helpful in resisting various infections caused by endometrial polyps. Once this disease is discovered, it must be checked regularly and actively treated with surgery.
