What breast examinations should be done?

Maintaining good health is very important. In addition to actively treating and controlling the disease after it occurs, you should also pay more attention to maintenance in normal times, so as to reduce the occurrence of disease. In addition, regular physical examinations are also very important so that you can detect diseases as early as possible and receive treatment as soon as possible. So what kind of breast examination should be done? Let us introduce it below.

1. Blood test

The total white blood cell count and neutrophil granulocyte count were significantly increased. If a tumor is detected, puncture should be performed under local anesthesia to help confirm the diagnosis of abscess.

2. Ultrasound examination

Helps diagnose abscesses. Before delivery, the nipples are often washed and rubbed with a towel and soap, and pinched and pulled with the thumb and index finger to make the skin tough. The nipples should be kept clean during breastfeeding and the milk should be completely sucked out after each feeding. If you cannot empty the milk or feel engorged, express it by hand or use a breast pump. During lactation, drinking 30 grams of orange seeds boiled in water can prevent milk stasis. The nipple is as if it is broken by sucking. Should be treated promptly. Expectant mothers suffering from mastitis should stop breastfeeding, eat a light diet, and keep a good mood.

Mastitis often occurs due to milk stasis during the postpartum lactation period, or when the nipple is broken by the baby, causing pathogenic bacteria to invade the milk ducts and cause acute suppurative infection of the breast tissue. The pathogens of mastitis are mainly Staphylococcus aureus or Streptococcus. If the inflammation is not treated and controlled in time, breast abscess may easily form.

Acute mastitis belongs to the category of "breast abscess" in traditional Chinese medicine, which is mostly caused by emotional discomfort, liver depression and stomach heat. If it is caused by milk stasis, the breasts will be swollen and painful, with lumps with unclear boundaries, poor milk discharge, red or white skin color, accompanied by fever, chills, poor appetite, fatigue and other symptoms.

Inflammatory infiltration stage of mastitis: The breasts become enlarged, red, swollen and painful, and feel hot, hard and tender to the touch locally. The lymph nodes in the armpit on the affected side are swollen and painful, accompanied by symptoms of poisoning such as high fever and chills.

The question of what breast examinations should be done has been answered very clearly above. In normal times, you should pay attention to protecting your breasts if you feel any discomfort in your breasts. It is important to conduct targeted examinations in a timely manner so that the disease can be discovered as early as possible, which is very important for maintaining good health. In addition, we should actively prevent breast diseases in normal times.
