At what age does a woman become mature?

In recent years, the issue of precocious puberty in children has received widespread attention. Not only are boys and girls prohibited from having close contact in school, but they also need to frequently face the questioning gazes of their parents at home. Whenever we receive a call from a friend of the opposite sex, our parents will surround us and ask us questions for a while. If we happen to see them walking with the opposite sex on the street, they will no longer have freedom. This makes many children feel troubled. So at what age is a woman considered mature?

It is often said abroad that "girls are precocious at the age of eight and boys are precocious at the age of nine." But in China, it is considered precocious puberty and requires immediate treatment. Chinese girls generally begin puberty at the age of 11 or 12, while boys generally begin to develop at the age of 13 or 14. Secondary sexual characteristics begin to appear when people enter puberty, and girls generally appear earlier than boys. Europeans develop earlier and faster than Asians, and blacks also develop earlier and faster. This may be due to long-term residence in frigid and tropical zones. Most of the yellow people living in temperate zones develop physically more slowly.

But here lies the problem, Oriental girls do not develop as early as Western girls, but they are definitely not as late as many people think. Under normal conditions, girls will begin to show signs of growth after the age of ten. Between the ages of ten and eleven, girls' height and weight will grow rapidly. So at this time girls often outnumber boys. By this time, the breasts have already changed. The nipples will be slightly raised. The nipples will change color slightly and pubic hair will begin to grow. Of course it's still very sparse. After the age of eleven or twelve, the breasts will begin to swell. At this time, the pubic hair is already very thick, but not as long as that of adults and is not distributed over a wide area. The external genitalia will also begin to change.

To sum up, compared with Western countries, Chinese girls develop relatively late. A few decades ago, Chinese girls would start menstruating at around sixteen years old, but this has become rare in recent years. Most children are well-nourished, and their menarche age is advanced to eleven or twelve years old. Precocious puberty requires correct guidance from parents and schools rather than blindly prohibiting or suppressing them, so that we can grow up healthily.
