The main symptom of vulvar squamous epithelial hyperplasia is vulvar itching, accompanied by loss of vulvar skin pigmentation. Why does vulvar itching caused by pinworm infection occur most frequently at night? In patients with diabetes, sugar in their urine irritates the vulvar skin, especially when complicated by vulvovaginal candidiasis. The vulvar itching is particularly inflammatory and even unbearable, but the local skin and mucous membranes appear normal, or there are only scratches and blood scabs due to excessive scratching. When patients with chronic diseases such as jaundice, vitamin A and B deficiency, anemia, leukemia, etc. experience vulvar itching, it is often part of systemic itching. Hepatobiliary cholestasis during pregnancy can also cause itching of the skin, including the vulva.

The cleanliness and hygiene of the vulva are the most important things women need to pay attention to.
