Is the endometrium 10mm a sign of pregnancy?

Before getting pregnant, it is best for female friends to go to the hospital for relevant examinations to see if they have any diseases that are not conducive to pregnancy. If a woman has problems with her uterus, such as uterine fibroids, intrauterine adhesions, and thin uterine walls, pregnancy will be affected. So, does endometrial thickness of 10mm mean pregnancy?

If the thickness of a woman's uterine endometrium is 10mm, she may be pregnant, but the thickness of the endometrium alone cannot be used to determine whether a woman is pregnant. Further tests are needed, such as using an early pregnancy test strip at home to test morning urine. If the test strip shows two red bars, it means the woman is already pregnant.

If you feel that your test results are not accurate enough, you can go to the hospital for a blood test, which is a test of hcg in the blood and can get more accurate results. Female friends should note that on-site sampling cannot be done too early. A pregnancy test can only be done about 10 days after intercourse.

During a woman's ovulation period, the normal uterine wall is more than 8mm. If the uterine wall is thinner than this, it will affect pregnancy, which is not conducive to the implantation of the embryo combined with sperm and egg. Even if you manage to get pregnant, it is very easy to have a miscarriage during the pregnancy. Therefore, if a woman finds that the uterine wall is less than 8mm, she must take treatment measures and wait until the uterine wall recovers before considering pregnancy.

What is endometrial thickening

The uterine wall is the mucous membrane that covers the uterus and is one of the most differentiated tissues in the body. The uterine wall grows slowly during childhood, and it is not until the early menarche of girls that estrogen has a significant effect on the endometrial glandular space. The thickening of the endometrium is mainly due to the stimulation of excessive estrogen. Endometrial hyperplasia rarely occurs in women with normal menstrual cycles.

Menstruation is a sign that female sexual function has begun to improve. During the menstrual cycle, the uterine wall also undergoes regular changes. Under normal circumstances, an egg is ovulated once in each menstrual cycle. If there is no pregnancy, menstruation will occur and a new cycle will begin. If the egg is fertilized and pregnancy occurs, the uterine wall will undergo decidua.

The menstrual cycle is mainly regulated by the hormones of the uterus and ovaries. If the uterus and ovaries have hormone disorders, it will eventually cause irregular menstruation and the uterine wall will also have corresponding changes in shape. The clinical symptoms are amenorrhea or functional uterine bleeding. Among them, functional uterine bleeding is the most common. There are many reasons for successful hemostasis, and the main reasons for it are different in different age groups. Among them, uterine wall proliferation disease is very common.

Uterine wall fertility disease is caused by a large amount of estrogen stimulating the uterine wall. The clinical symptoms are irregular and excessive abnormal uterine bleeding. Patients may experience continuous bleeding after long-term amenorrhea. Clinically, it may be suspected of miscarriage. It may also be manifested as a shortened cycle time, prolonged menstruation, and bleeding time of up to 1 month. Pathological examination showed that the degree of uterine wall proliferation was not consistent with the severity of bleeding. The main manifestation is endometrial thickening, with thickness varying from 3 to 12 mm, and in some cases even reaching 20 mm. The endometrium is grayish white or light yellow, with a flat surface or cystic protrusions, which may be accompanied by edema. The cystic spaces formed by the enlarged glandular ducts can sometimes be seen in the cross-section.
