What are the symptoms of female menopause?

What women least want to hear is that they have entered menopause. I believe that many people are unwilling to accept the arrival of menopause. Menopause means that you are starting to get old, and who wants to get old? Sometimes teachers always lose their temper with us for no apparent reason, and we always say that the teacher has reached menopause. But we don’t know anything about menopause. What are the symptoms of female menopause syndrome?

The most typical symptoms of menopausal syndrome are hot flashes and flushing. It mostly occurs between the ages of 40 and 60. Most women may experience symptoms of varying severity. Some people begin to experience symptoms during the menopausal transition period and continue for 2 to 3 years after menopause. For a few people, the symptoms may not be alleviated or disappear until 5 to 10 years after menopause. Women who undergo artificial menopause often experience perimenopausal syndrome 2 weeks after the operation, which peaks 2 months after the operation and can last for up to 2 years.

(1) Menstrual disorders: It is the most common and prominent symptom in menopausal women. Menstruation is often delayed, sometimes only occurring once every few months, and the amount of menstruation gradually decreases. When estrogen becomes less and less and can no longer cause changes in the endometrium, menstruation stops, which is called menopause.

(2) Hot flashes: Hot flashes are one of the main characteristics of menopause. Some women experience a decrease in estrogen levels and blood calcium levels during menopause. They may experience hot flashes, flushing, sweating, dizziness, and palpitations. The duration of the hot flashes may be one or two minutes or 12 to 15 minutes.

(3) Cardiovascular and lipid metabolism disorders: Coronary heart disease and diabetes may occur.

(4) Neurological and mental disorders: Some women have significant fluctuations in blood pressure and may experience emotional instability, irritability, personality changes, memory loss, general discomfort, etc.

(5) Degeneration of the musculoskeletal system: pain in the waist, back, and limbs occurs, and some women develop frozen shoulder and cervical spondylosis.

For women entering menopause, the best way to treat the various symptoms of menopause is through food. Women during menopause should eat more foods rich in B vitamins. These foods have many functions such as protecting the nervous system, promoting digestion, calming and promoting sleep, etc. Patients with anemia can eat more protein-rich foods to relieve symptoms.
