Appendicitis is a common gastrointestinal disease in clinical practice. Not only women but also men suffer from it. However, women with appendicitis may have more serious conditions. The main symptom of appendicitis is pain in the lower right abdomen, sometimes accompanied by fever and vomiting. In the early stage, the treatment method we usually use is to inject antibiotics through intravenous infusion, and the effect is good. However, if appendicitis is found to be suppurative, surgical treatment should be taken in time. Appendicitis generally presents with migratory right lower abdominal pain. There is tenderness and rebound pain in the right lower abdomen, and the abdominal muscles are tense. If the body temperature is still elevated, the anti-inflammatory effect is considered to be general, and the antibiotic level can be increased to enhance the anti-inflammatory effect. Because of my old age, the risks of surgery are relatively high, so I try to receive conservative treatment. The diagnosis of appendicitis is generally based on abdominal pain symptoms, combined with a routine blood test. Once the diagnosis is basically clear, intravenous infusion or surgical treatment can be performed depending on the specific situation. In the early stage, it is a visceral nerve reflex pain, so the pain in the upper and middle abdomen and around the umbilicus is diffuse and often cannot be accurately located. When the inflammation spreads to the serosa and parietal peritoneum, the pain is fixed in the right lower abdomen, and the original pain in the upper abdomen or around the umbilicus is alleviated or disappears. Therefore, the absence of a typical history of migratory right lower quadrant pain does not exclude acute appendicitis. At the beginning of acute inflammation, the appendix appears congested and swollen, with edema and neutrophil infiltration in the wall, small ulcers and bleeding spots in the mucosa, and a small amount of exudation in the serosa. The accumulation of turbid exudate in the cavity is called simple appendicitis. Because the visceral pain is unclear, the patient feels dull pain in the upper abdomen or around the navel, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting, and general discomfort. The abdominal pain gradually shifts to the right lower abdomen. The above has given a comprehensive explanation of the symptoms of appendicitis in women. In clinical treatment, we should adopt appropriate treatment methods based on the actual situation of the patient. If the symptoms of appendicitis swelling and congestion are more obvious, it is recommended to check whether there is suppuration. If suppuration is found, we recommend timely surgical treatment. Patients undergoing surgical treatment should not have too much psychological burden. |
