How long does menopause last for women?

When a woman gets angry, or when our mother gets angry, we say that she has reached menopause. As we all know, female comrades will have a menopause, that is, they will enter menopause at the age of menopause. Women in menopause are irritable and irritable, and their moods are uncertain. But how long does this menopause last?

Do you know when women go through menopause? Women go through menopause when the function of the gonads changes from maturity to decline. It is difficult to be sure when menopause begins, but when the endocrine hormones of the ovaries decrease to a certain level, women will no longer menstruate. Even though there are often irregular menstruation before menopause, it is now generally recognized that natural menopause occurs when a woman naturally stops menstruating for one year. Although it cannot be said that there are no such cases, there are some rare cases.

In addition to the need for surgery or radiation therapy to terminate ovarian function due to some diseases, women generally experience menopausal changes before menopause; after menopause, some menopausal symptoms may continue for a period of time. This makes it difficult to accurately grasp clinically, so we can only estimate a person's menopause start time based on her age at menopause. Strictly speaking, the time when each person starts menopause may vary slightly due to differences in region, climate, race, economy, nutrition, age of menarche, marriage and childbirth history, and contraceptive methods.

On the other hand, some records in Western history show that although the age of menopause in women has been slightly delayed, the change is not particularly large. Before the Common Era, women entered menopause at an average age of 40 to 50 years old, 35 to 60 years old in the Middle Ages, and currently in Western countries it is generally 42 to 58 years old. In 1980, my country conducted a survey of more than 130,000 women in 29 provinces and cities. The age of natural menopause was between 42 and 58 years old, with an average of 49.5 years old. Of course, there were some women who went into menopause as early as 39 and as late as 60 years old.

Women's emotions fluctuate greatly during menopause, and they may even become irritable and lose their temper frequently. At this time, as a family member, you should take extra care of them, give them great concern, and help them through menopause. In addition, women in menopause should also cultivate some of their own hobbies, such as painting, playing the piano, etc., which is beneficial to physical and mental health and can also calm their emotions.
