What is the normal age for women to reach menopause?

Due to physiological reasons, women's menstruation will disappear after reaching a certain age. This is what we call menopause in medicine. The menopause of normal men and women is generally between 45 and 50 years old. The disappearance of menstruation at this time is a normal phenomenon, but some other factors may cause menopause to be advanced or delayed. Once such a phenomenon is discovered, it is necessary to understand the cause in time.

Abnormal menopause age may be a precursor to a certain disease. In addition, some women often find that their menopause occurs before the age of 40. This situation is often a symptom of organ aging and is not normal. If you don’t understand when a woman goes through menopause under normal circumstances, you may get sick without knowing it, and even become infertile due to organ aging.

Generally speaking, women who are short, underweight, and malnourished will reach menopause 3-4 years earlier than women who are strong, well-nourished, and of moderate weight; women with chronic wasting diseases, endocrine abnormalities, and metabolic disorders will reach menopause earlier than healthy women of the same age; women with disharmonious sex lives, unhappy marital relationships, and long-term depression will also reach menopause relatively early.

Some experts have pointed out that most people experience menopause at the age of 55, but some will experience menopause after the age of 60. If a woman has a normal menstrual cycle after the age of 50 and does not have any discomfort, she does not need to worry too much, because the delayed menopause proves that the woman's ovarian function is still intact.
