What is the treatment for uterine erosion?

In our current life, more and more young female friends hope to do their best to strive for the ideal height of life in their best years. Today, I would like to discuss with you those gynecological diseases that we have overlooked in the process of pursuing greater heights in life. Here, I would like to give you a brief introduction to the treatment of uterine erosion.

Cervical columnar epithelium ectopia does not require any treatment, and many current methods of treating cervical erosion are wrong. But for symptomatic cervicitis, treatment is needed. Acute inflammation is treated with suppositories, while chronic inflammation can be treated with physical therapy such as laser or freezing.

Regular examination of the cervix is necessary, not to prevent cervical erosion, but to prevent cervical cancer. The occurrence of cervical cancer is related to infection with human papillomavirus. Some patients infected with high-risk HPV are prone to precancerous lesions and cervical cancer when the infection persists in the squamous-columnar junction area of the cervix. Since the advent of cervical smear testing, the mortality rate of cervical cancer has dropped significantly. The key is early prevention and treatment. It is currently recommended that women over the age of 21 should undergo a cervical smear test once a year. After the age of 30, an HPV test can be combined. If three consecutive HPV and cervical smear tests are negative, the interval can be extended to once every three years. Screening can be stopped after the age of 65.

According to current medical concepts, "cervical erosion" is only a symptomatic description, not a clinical diagnosis. What doctors have to do is to judge based on this symptom whether it is related to cervical lesions or is simply caused by hormonal changes.

For the latter, the doctor will make a judgment by asking about the menstrual cycle and no treatment is needed; if it is the former, a cervical cytology examination is needed to check for inflammation, precancerous lesions, etc. If problems are found, a histological diagnosis will be performed to confirm the severity of the problem.

I wonder if the majority of female friends have a deeper understanding of the treatment of uterine erosion after reading the comprehensive and scientific introduction I put forward above. In fact, through today's analysis, I hope that the majority of female friends can start to pay attention to their own health issues. Only health can bring true happiness.
