Among many gynecological diseases, cervical cysts are relatively common. Some people may have only one cervical cyst, while others may have many cysts on their cervix, which is called multiple cysts. So, what are the symptoms of this multiple cysts on the cervix?

Generally there are no obvious symptoms, but the main symptom of chronic cervicitis is increased vaginal discharge. Due to different pathogens, the color and amount of vaginal discharge are also different. Leucorrhea may be sticky or purulent, sometimes with streaks of blood or a small amount of blood, and may also have contact bleeding. Pain often occurs in the lower abdomen or lumbosacral area, and pelvic pain or dysmenorrhea may occur, which is often aggravated during menstruation, bowel movements or sexual intercourse. In addition, irregular menstruation and infertility may occur.

During the examination, you can see multiple bluish-white vesicles of varying sizes (not purple) protruding from the surface of the cervix. They contain mucus. The small ones are as big as rice grains, and the large ones are as big as corn kernels. Some can grow very large, protruding from the surface of the cervix and even reaching the vaginal opening. The roots are connected to the cervix by a pedicle, and are often accompanied by cervical hypertrophy. Cervical cyst is a manifestation of chronic cervicitis. Cervical gland cyst, also known as Nathian gland cyst, is a cyst caused by cervical erosion in the healing process, which prevents the secretions in the gland from flowing out. The excessive proliferation of new squamous epithelium blocks the cervical gland duct. Cervical cysts are generally small and scattered, protruding on the surface of the cervix, bluish-white in color, and retained in the gland to form cysts of varying sizes. The cysts are usually small and scattered and may protrude from the surface of the cervix.

If you examine multiple cervical cysts with an instrument, you will see many cysts of different sizes. If this is the patient's experience, there are usually almost no symptoms in the early stages, but if the condition worsens further, symptoms such as abdominal pain, back pain, dysmenorrhea, abnormal leucorrhea, irregular menstruation, etc. will appear, and there will also be bleeding symptoms during intercourse.
