How much does surgery for severe cervical erosion cost?

I believe many female friends have heard of the disease of cervical erosion. Suffering from cervical erosion will affect pregnancy, delay our menstrual period, cause amenorrhea, and even affect the time of pregnancy. Friends who suffer from cervical erosion must not eat fried and greasy foods, as these things are not good for their condition. Below are some methods of treating cervical erosion and the surgical costs that the editor has collected over the years. Let's go and see.

Severe cervical erosion can be treated with LEEP surgery. The cost of LEEP surgery for cervical erosion in general hospitals is about 1,000 yuan. The charging standards vary depending on the level of the hospital.

Western medicine treatment

1. Drug treatment - less side effects, more suitable for women who have not given birth. The most common drugs for treating cervical erosion abroad are Shadier Gel, Huijian combination, and external medication Xiaomi suppositories, which are effective but relatively expensive.

2. Use a cotton swab to carefully apply 10-30% silver nitrate solution or 10% iodine to the affected area. After using silver nitrate, apply normal saline to convert excess silver nitrate into non-corrosive silver chloride. Take twice a week, 4 to 6 times as a course of treatment, and repeat if necessary.

3. Potassium dichromate solution

Use a cotton swab to dip the medicine and carefully apply it to the affected area. Apply the medicine once after the menstruation is over, and repeat it after the next menstruation. It is sometimes more effective for those with larger erosion areas. Before applying the medicine, wipe the cervical mucus with 0.1% chlorhexidine, and place two cotton balls in the posterior fornix to prevent the medicine from flowing down and burning the vaginal mucosa. After finishing, take out the cotton ball and wipe the applied area with a 75% alcohol cotton swab (formula: 10g potassium dichromate, 75ml concentrated sulfuric acid, add water to 100ml).

4. Physical therapy - suitable for patients with moderate and severe cervical erosion. Commonly used methods include electric ironing, laser therapy, and cryotherapy. The disadvantage is that the side effects are large and may cause the nerve sensitivity of the vaginal wall to decrease, affecting the quality of sexual life. In addition, it is easy to relapse after being cured.

The above are some methods of treating cervical erosion and the surgical costs that the editor has collected. In fact, many people are afraid to undergo surgery for cervical erosion because the cost is too high. This is wrong. No matter how expensive the surgery is, you have to do it. The longer you delay, the more detrimental it is to our health. It may also cause other diseases. Early detection and early treatment are necessary.
