Can cervical cysts cause infertility?

With the development of society and the advancement of science and technology, many diseases that were incurable in ancient times have been effectively solved. However, today, another problem is troubling many families: infertility. This problem can be said to be the source of disharmony in most families. Women shoulder the responsibility of bearing offspring and need to pay more attention to their physical health. Today, I will discuss with you whether cervical cysts can cause infertility.

Cervical cyst is one of the manifestations of chronic cervicitis. When cervical erosion is recovering, the opening of the cervical gland duct is covered by new squamous epithelium, or due to the hyperplasia of adjacent connective tissue, the cervical gland duct is compressed, causing the glandular secretions to be retained, and single or multiple small white cysts are formed on the surface of the cervix.

There are many reasons for infertility caused by cervical cysts. Cervical cysts will produce a lot of viscous secretions, which are not conducive to the passage of sperm. Under the stimulation of inflammation, the resistance of sperm will be reduced, and vesicles of varying sizes will hinder the activity of sperm, resulting in female infertility.

Specific aspects:

1. The sticky secretions secreted by the cyst make it difficult for sperm to pass through. The inflammatory secretions contain many white blood cells, which will swallow up a large number of sperm. Therefore, the patient must be completely cured before considering pregnancy. 2. If the uterine cyst becomes larger or diseased, the eggs, sperm and fertilized eggs will not be able to move smoothly, the female's fertility will be affected and even lead to female infertility. 3. The first door that sperm passes through is the cervix. Any changes in it are likely to affect the normal passage of sperm, thus causing infertility. Whether sperm can enter the uterine cavity smoothly is directly affected by cervical mucus and cervical morphology.

For women who have not given birth, ovarian cysts may cause infertility. For women who have given birth, if they do not take timely measures when they have ovarian cysts, the cysts may worsen and cause cancer, thus putting their lives in danger.

It can be seen that cervical cysts can really lead to infertility, and not only mothers, but girls should also pay attention to it. They must go for physical examinations on time and do not avoid examinations due to shyness or other reasons, as this may deprive you of your right to be a mother. In daily life, we should also pay attention to our own cleanliness, which is of utmost importance.
