What are the dangers of nail polish?

Women are beauty-loving species, and as girls get older, they will care more and more about their appearance. Everyone likes to get their nails done, thinking it makes them more beautiful. However, the price of beauty is adverse effects on the body. Even if the manufacturer says that it is made from plants and does not contain any chemical products, this is just a promotional technique. Is it really harmless? It is better to apply nail polish less often, as it is not only harmful to your nails but also bad for your health.

Ordinary chemical nail polish contains a large amount of chemical solvents - (usually accounting for 70%), such as toluene, formaldehyde, ethyl acetate (banana water), phthalates, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and its derivatives, etc., which cause many harms to health. Among them, phthalates and DBP can disrupt normal hormonal balance, cause cancer, serious reproductive damage and other health problems, while benzene and aldehydes are both carcinogens.

1. Harmful substances are absorbed by humans, lead and mercury are accumulated in the body, benzene poisoning, leading to aplastic anemia (leukemia). No matter whether it is good or bad, nail polish will have complications like paint. If pregnant women use it, it will cause miscarriage. In mild cases, the nails will break, turn yellow and become thinner. In more serious cases, it can lead to infertility and cancer. Because some unscrupulous merchants add some inferior chemicals into nail polish to maintain the gloss, and nail polish will block the breathing holes on the nails, which is quite harmful to the nails.

2. Nail polishes are smelly and pungent. They are very harmful. They contain chemicals. The smell can be inhaled into the lungs and cannot be expelled. It enters the blood and poses a cancer threat. It is very corrosive and will corrode the nails when applied on them. The nails will not be able to breathe and will turn yellow. The solvent components of ordinary nail polish are basically toxic or harmful substances, which is not known to most people. The most powerful ones should be phthalates and formaldehyde, followed by acetone, ethyl acetate, etc. Phthalates can interfere with normal hormone balance and cause serious reproductive damage and other health problems; while benzene and formaldehyde are both carcinogens. There are also reports that some ingredients in nail polish may have an impact on the health of the fetus, so we should pay close attention to it.

Although in this age of appearance, people focus on outward appearance, but beauty should still be moderate. In daily life, try to avoid doing things that are harmful to your body, and use less nail polish. Nature is sometimes also a kind of beauty. It does not need those flashy decorations on the outside. The soul must also be as beautiful as the outside.
