What to do if your legs feel sore during confinement

What to do if your legs feel sore during confinement

Giving birth to a child is a very happy thing for women, but many women don’t know why their legs are sore during the confinement period after giving birth. This is because the waist and legs exerted too much force during childbirth. After giving birth, you will experience back pain and leg pain. If you do not pay attention to rest, work, or activities, you will feel tired and your legs will be sore during confinement. I hope everyone can pay attention to this.

1. Prevent postpartum hand and foot pain

First of all, you should pay attention to adequate rest and avoid doing too much housework. Special attention should be paid to reducing the burden on the fingers and wrists. For example, the couple should cooperate when bathing the child to avoid the mother holding the head with one hand and washing the child with the other hand. When washing diapers, be sure to use warm water to avoid cold stimulation. Secondly, while recuperating, the mother should get out of bed and move around appropriately to prevent the degeneration of the heel fat pad and avoid postpartum foot pain. The human body is weak! You must take care of your body and don't touch water! And you also need to eat better! In addition, you need to do some gymnastics during the confinement period.

2. Precautions

During the confinement period, you must protect your feet well. Wear cotton socks. It is best not to expose your feet and do not wear too hard shoes.

Get more rest and be careful not to catch a cold.

Mothers should not walk too much during the confinement period and should wear flat-heeled cloth shoes with covered heels, but the soles should not be too soft. After giving birth, the mother's body, except for the breasts, has undergone changes. In order to restore it to its original state, she pays attention to the confinement period.

Avoid spicy, warm and dry foods. Because spicy, warm and dry foods can contribute to internal heat, which can increase the mother's internal heat, she may develop symptoms such as mouth ulcers, constipation or hemorrhoids. It may also aggravate the baby's internal heat through breast milk. Therefore, the diet should be light, especially within seven days after delivery. Soft rice, egg soup, etc. should be the main diet. Do not eat too greasy and spicy foods, such as garlic, chili, pepper, fennel, wine, leek and other spicy and warm foods and seasoning spices.

Kind reminder: Some cold dishes have not been sterilized at high temperatures. New mothers have weak constitutions and poor resistance after childbirth, which can easily cause digestive tract diseases such as gastroenteritis. Some cold fruits, such as watermelon and pear, should not be eaten too much, as they may cause diarrhea for some people with weak spleen and stomach. Of course, you can eat it in small amounts in the summer, but be careful not to eat too much.

Many women experience sore legs during confinement. Don't worry about it. Giving birth is the first time a woman feels maternal love, especially for mothers who breastfeed. The feeling is deep. Because a mother who has just given birth is still very weak, as long as you pay attention to rest and don't catch cold, the sore legs will slowly recover. The above are some of my summaries, I hope they will be helpful to everyone. Finally, I wish all mothers good health!
