What does menopause mean for women

The early, mid and late menopause has different effects on the human body. The answer to the question of whether it will make people age faster is not certain. This is because the content of decline is rich and varied, and there are many influencing factors. The impact of ovarian deficiency is not the only factor. In medicine, "female menopause" and "menopause" have long replaced "female menopause".

Modern science believes that the essence of menopause is ovarian failure. When the eggs are exhausted and the uterus does not develop, it is impossible to produce enough estrogen and progesterone, and the menstrual period will naturally stop.

According to statistics, the average menopause age for women in my country is around 50 years old. If the menstrual period is less than 1 year, after excluding pregnancy, we can assess that the woman is in menopause.

When a woman enters menopause, it means that her body has basically no estrogen and progesterone. Especially estrogen, which is essential for women's various organs to maintain normal functions.

Once menopause begins, the body's organs begin to decline, including skin aging, freckles, vaginal dryness, pain during sexual intercourse, and abnormalities in the central nervous system such as night sweats and irritability. You will also suffer from low bone density to osteoporosis, and cardiovascular and metabolic problems leading to high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke and other problems.

Of course, I have also seen many women in their twenties and thirties who have premature ovarian failure. They also have no estrogen and progesterone, but they still look younger than women in their 50s who have menstruation. Also, for a 50-year-old menopausal woman who works for a long time, she will definitely look older than those who dress well in the city.

In general, the decline of appearance is affected by many factors, and the relationship between the decline of essential organs and estrogen is very close.

Which is stronger, menopause at 40 or at 55?

Estrogen deficiency can cause many health problems, involving a wide range of organs and tissues, and the severity is directly proportional to the duration of the deficiency.

For example, it is generally believed that women will develop severe osteoporosis after 10 to 15 years of estrogen deficiency.

Osteoporosis is a silent disease with mostly no symptoms. However, once a fracture occurs, it is troublesome and cannot be healed. It has a high mortality rate and morbidity rate. Therefore, if you enter menopause at the age of 40, you will need to deal with this problem starting around the age of 50 to 55.

For this kind of problem caused by menopause, it is recommended to "replenish what is lacking" and estrogen and progesterone supplementation treatment is strongly recommended. Under normal circumstances, natural growth hormone is used, but no matter how natural the growth hormone is, it is still natural and is growth hormone produced by the body itself.

Therefore, a woman who reaches menopause at age 40 would have to use estrogen and progesterone for 15 years.

Although the side effects of pure natural estrogen and progesterone can be ignored, they still exist a little bit. For example, the risk of breast cancer does not increase within 5 to 7 years of growth hormone use, but after this period, the risk increases very slightly.

Of course, I would also like to point out that the risk of this increase is very small, less than 1‰ per year. In other words, over a period of one year, the number of additional breast cancer patients per 1,000 people is less than 1, which is much smaller than the risk caused by unhealthy lifestyle habits (such as lack of exercise, obesity and drinking).

Then again, is it really good to go into menopause at 55? Not necessarily! If you have not reached menopause at this age, or even have your first menstruation in your 60s, you should still be careful.

Because estrogen fluctuates greatly during the menstrual cycle, estrogen is very high around ovulation, and hormone treatment only produces low levels of growth hormone concentration. If the female hormones are stimulated for more than two years, it will be relatively easier to have problems such as uterine fibroids, endometrial cancer and breast cancer.

Whether you experience menopause at 40 or 55, there is nothing to be afraid of. As long as you take growth hormone supplements and have regular physical examinations, you will still be happy in life.
