How to treat cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade II

How to treat cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade II

Different diseases will be divided into different levels. For example, tumors will be divided into different levels, including level one, level two, level three and level four. There are some very common female diseases in life, such as cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. People do not have a good understanding of its level. So how to treat level two cervical intraepithelial neoplasia? Let us understand this situation below.

Generally speaking, for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2 (CIN2), cervical laser or high-frequency electrosurgical loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) are both acceptable. But before making a choice, one thing must be clear, that is, whether the colposcopy examination is satisfactory. Unfortunately, many hospitals in China that perform colposcopy do not report this important information.

If the colposcopy is satisfactory, that is, the junction of the columnar epithelium and the squamous epithelium of the cervix (called the transitional zone, which is the most likely site for cervical precancerous lesions to occur) is seen by the examining doctor, and a living tissue is taken from this site for pathological examination, then we can assume that there should be no lesions on the cervix that are more serious than CIN2. In this case, cervical laser can be used to burn and destroy the lesions.

On the contrary, if the results of the colposcopy are unsatisfactory, that is, the doctor cannot see the aforementioned transitional zone for various reasons and no biopsy is taken at these sites, then we have to suspect that the biopsy site may not be the site with the most severe lesions. In other words, there may be lesions on the cervix that are more severe than CIN2. In this case, it is necessary to further remove part of the cervix for pathological examination, which is called cervical conization.

The above is how to treat it. Generally speaking, surgery is the main treatment method. The first thing to do is to check and confirm your internal rheology level. Level two is a relatively mild phenomenon. If the condition is serious, surgical resection is required. But don’t be too nervous about this condition. It is not a difficult and complicated disease that can be completely cured.
