The so-called "Qi" refers to the power that enables human organs to function. It has physiological functions such as maintaining vitality, warming the body, and defending against external evil. "Qi" is like the "gasoline" of the human body, driving the functioning of the internal organs, keeping the body surface at normal temperature, and defending against various viral invasions. The "blood" mentioned in traditional Chinese medicine has two meanings. The first one refers to the "blood" flowing in the blood vessels in Western medicine, which has the physiological function of nourishing and moisturizing the whole body; the second one refers to the running carrier that exists with "qi". There is a saying in traditional Chinese medicine that "qi is the commander of blood, and blood is the mother of qi". Qi promotes the circulation of blood, and blood nourishes the abundance of qi. If the human body is compared to a growing plant, Qi is the sunlight and blood is the rain and dew. The two work together on the human body, making it grow healthily. This is true not only for the entire human body, but also for every organ. Qi and blood can be found in some details of the human body. As long as you can distinguish these small omen details, you can recognize the circulation status of Qi and blood in each organ, which helps to predict disease and maintain health. Please pay attention to the eight signs of insufficient Qi and blood in women.
Omen 1: cloudy eye color Mainly look at the color and clarity of the eyes. Children all have a pair of clear eyes, while "old and yellow" is generally used to describe middle-aged people. Clear, bright and energetic eyes indicate sufficient Qi and blood; cloudy and yellowish whites of the eyes indicate insufficient Qi and blood in the liver; the whites of the eyes are closely related to the lungs and large intestine, and if there are bloodshot in the whites of the eyes, it is mostly due to heat in the lungs and large intestine; large bags under the eyes indicate spleen deficiency; dry eyes and heavy eyelids also mean insufficient Qi and blood; dull, dark and lifeless eyes indicate Qi and blood deficiency.
Omen 2: Pale ears The ear is a microcosm of the human body. Almost all changes in internal organs can be reflected in the ear, among which the kidney is the most closely related. People often say that "big ears bring good fortune". People with thick and big ears have sufficient kidney energy, while people with thin and small ears mostly have kidney deficiency. Large, soft ears with more flesh and less bone and full earlobes indicate that the person has good congenital nutritional status; small, stiff ears with less flesh and more bone and thin earlobes indicate that the person has congenital physical deficiency. Pale ears are often seen in colds and people with insufficient Yang energy; red and swollen ears are mostly a sign of "getting angry", which is common in liver and gallbladder fire or damp heat; an obvious diagonal line on the earlobe indicates heart Qi deficiency; tinnitus and deafness both indicate weak kidney Qi. People whose ears have nodular or cord-like protrusions, dot-like depressions, and are dull often have chronic organic diseases, such as cirrhosis of the liver, tumors, etc. The local blood vessels in the ear are too full and dilated, and circular and segmental changes may be seen. This is common in people with abnormal heart and lung function, such as coronary heart disease, asthma, etc.
Sign 3: Excessive hair loss Hair is closely related to the liver and kidneys. If the liver blood is sufficient, the hair will have adequate blood supply; the essence in the kidneys is the foundation of the human body, and the growth of hair and maintenance of a healthy state are closely related to the kidneys. Graying of hair is a sign of liver blood and kidney qi decline; however, some teenagers develop gray hair in a short period of time, accompanied by a bad temper and easy anger, which is mostly due to liver depression and blood heat; if accompanied by lack of sleep, weakness in the waist and knees, and tinnitus, it is a sign of insufficient kidney qi. If a large amount of hair falls out and the hair becomes increasingly thin, you should be alert to problems with the Qi and blood in your entire body. Greasy hair indicates that the spleen and lungs are not in harmony. The spleen's qi is too strong and the lung's qi is weak, which will lead to excessive oiliness in the hair. The growth rate of hair is related to liver blood. If the liver blood is insufficient, the hair will grow slowly and become dry easily.
Omen 4: Flat and cold fingers First of all, the temperature of the hands is a direct reflection of the body's qi and blood. If the Qi and blood are sufficient, the hands are always warm. If the palms are hot or sweaty or the hands are cold, it means that the Qi and blood are insufficient. If the finger pads are flat and weak or the fingertips are thin, it means that the Qi and blood are insufficient. If the finger pads are plump and the flesh is elastic, it means that the Qi and blood are sufficient. Thick, strong and elastic palms usually indicate abundant blood circulation and a strong physique. Thick but weak and inelastic palms usually indicate low energy and fatigue. The palms are soft, thin and weak, indicating a decline in energy and a weak and sickly body. There is a half-moon shaped "little moon" on everyone's fingernails. Under normal circumstances, there should be a half-moon shape on all fingers except the little finger. If there are no half-moons on the fingers or only on the thumb, it means that there is a lot of coldness in the body and insufficient Qi and blood.
Sign 5: Dull skin Mainly look at gloss, elasticity and wrinkles. The skin and lungs have a close relationship. If the skin is white with a hint of pink, shiny, elastic, without wrinkles or spots, it means that the lungs have sufficient qi and blood. On the contrary, rough, dull, dark, yellow, white, blue, red, and spotted skin all indicate poor physical condition and insufficient Qi and blood. In addition, complexion is also a "barometer" of qi and blood. A pale complexion indicates insufficient kidney qi, while a sallow complexion indicates insufficient liver qi.
Sign 6: Tooth and gum recession Teeth have the closest relationship with kidneys. For example, problems such as sparse teeth, loose teeth, exposed tooth roots, etc. in adults are mostly caused by kidney deficiency. Gums are related to the gastrointestinal tract. If simple redness and swelling of the gums occur, it is mostly caused by rising stomach fire and may also be related to gastritis. The main reason for loose and falling teeth is the weak alveolar bone, which is mostly caused by osteoporosis. Gum recession indicates insufficient Qi and blood. When you notice that the gaps between your teeth have become larger and it becomes easier for food to get stuck in your teeth, you should pay attention to your physical condition.
Omen 7: People’s voices become deep A person’s voice also represents qi and blood. People with sufficient qi and blood have loud and powerful voices, which is also an important manifestation of sufficient lung qi. If the Qi and blood are abnormal, it will also be reflected in the person's voice. People with excessive liver qi or hyperactivity of liver yang often shout loudly; people with stagnant liver qi will sigh.
Omen 8: Difficulty sleeping and waking up easily If one falls asleep quickly, sleeps soundly, breathes evenly, and wakes up naturally, it means that one has sufficient Qi and blood. If one has difficulty falling asleep, is easily startled and wakes up easily, has frequent urination at night, breathes deeply, or snores, it means that one has deficient Qi and blood. In addition, loving to sleep is also a manifestation of qi and blood deficiency. Insufficiency of Qi and blood should be treated in time. If there are no typical pathological symptoms, you can first choose to drink chicken soup to replenish qi; or use 15 grams of Codonopsis pilosula or Astragalus membranaceus to decoct water to replenish qi. Angelica has the effect of nourishing blood and is suitable for people suffering from blood deficiency. In addition to diet, you also need to reduce stress in your life. When the above typical symptoms appear, you should see a doctor immediately. |
