How many days of pregnancy can be seen by ultrasound

For girls who are still unsure whether they are pregnant, B-ultrasound is the best way. So how long does it take for B-ultrasound to be done? What can be seen?

How many days of pregnancy can B-ultrasound detect

Generally, after 40 days of amenorrhea (about 35 days at the beginning), the human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in the pregnant woman's blood cells or urine can be measured to help diagnose the early stages of pregnancy. If you use a home pregnancy test strip to test yourself, it is best to take the middle part of your first morning urine, which is more accurate.

B-ultrasound diagnosis of early pregnancy will be slightly later than urine test. Generally, the gestational sac can be seen by B-ultrasound around 45 days after menstruation.

At present, ultrasound (B-ultrasound) is mainly used as a test in the late pregnancy, most of which are carried out for prenatal examinations. It is usually used to identify whether the fetus is normal, whether the pregnant woman has too much amniotic fluid, whether there is hydatidiform mole, whether the fetal position is normal, where the embryo is, to distinguish between single babies and twins, and to assess whether the fetus is stillborn or alive. Ultrasound examinations of pregnancy are usually very short, lasting only about ten minutes, and generally do not cause any impact on the fetus in the late gestational age of the uterus. From the perspective of eugenics, it is necessary to conduct ultrasound examinations during pregnancy.

Because the B-ultrasound examination is based on the size of the gestational sac and the size of the fetus, and the diagnosis is made by calculation, there is a certain degree of deviation, but this deviation is generally around 1 to 2 weeks. If the fetus grows too large, the diagnosis time may exceed the number of days of pregnancy. If the baby is too small, the diagnosis result may be lower than the actual gestational age.

How long does it take for a pregnancy to be diagnosed with ultrasound?

When a pregnant woman is about 7 weeks pregnant, she should have an ultrasound examination to determine whether the pregnancy is within the normal range and to better observe the condition of the appendages during pregnancy. If an ultrasound is performed before 7 weeks, it may not be detected because the gestational sac is too small or has not yet reached the uterus.

B-ultrasound can check the size of the gestational sac, fetal heart rate, fetal heartbeat and other fetal development conditions, and generally can understand the duration of pregnancy and the number of weeks of fetal development.

In the early stage of B-ultrasound examination, it will show a ring-shaped high score in the uterus. The shadow inside the ring is the amniotic fluid of the pregnant woman, and a regular fetal heartbeat will be seen, indicating that the fetus is very healthy.

Pregnancy is a very happy thing, so every examination during pregnancy cannot be missed, especially B-ultrasound examination can help pregnant women understand the growth and development of the fetus in the uterus. Never ignore the B-ultrasound examination because you find it troublesome. That would be irresponsible to the fetus. Many pregnant women did not do prenatal checkups according to the doctor's advice during pregnancy, and problems occurred when they finally gave birth. Therefore, only by doing a good job of examination can the child grow up healthily and have a successful birth.
