Pregnant woman's body temperature change curve in one day

For many careless women, it is not easy to detect in the early stages of pregnancy. Generally speaking, women's appetite will change greatly in the early stages of pregnancy, they will often feel sleepy, restless, and their body temperature will rise. Pregnancy is the most severe event affecting a woman's endocrine system and hormone changes. So you should pay more attention during pregnancy. Next, let’s take a look at the temperature change curve of pregnant women in a day.

One of the symptoms of early pregnancy is increased body temperature. The basal body temperature is around 37°C, and the increased body temperature will continue until the second trimester. This is mainly due to hormonal changes. Generally speaking, a woman's basal body temperature will change with the menstrual period. Before and after menstruation, the body temperature will be maintained at around 36.5℃ under the action of estrogen, and then gradually decrease, reaching the lowest during ovulation. After ovulation or conception, the body temperature will rise by 0.3-0.5℃ due to the influence of progesterone. The body temperature returns to normal when the next menstruation comes or the day before it.

The body temperature rises in the early stages of pregnancy because after ovulation, the follicle forms a corpus luteum and secretes progesterone, which can increase body temperature. If the egg is fertilized and pregnancy occurs, the corpus luteum continues to secrete progesterone, so the body temperature remains at a higher level. A woman's body temperature remains stable after pregnancy. If the body temperature changes, it will be maintained within the range of 36.9℃--37.2℃. If your body temperature fluctuates, it may be a sign of corpus luteum deficiency. Insufficient corpus luteum can easily lead to miscarriage or infertility.

The above is an introduction to the changes in body temperature during one day in the early stages of pregnancy. In short, when there is a large change in body temperature, it should be taken seriously. For pregnant women who have experienced miscarriage, they should go to the hospital for examination in time and take appropriate measures. In addition, if a pregnant woman has an abnormally high body temperature and feels uncomfortable in the early stages of pregnancy, she should suspect she has a fever and it is recommended that she go to the hospital for examination and timely treatment.

How to measure body temperature during early pregnancy

It is a normal physiological phenomenon for women to have an increased body temperature in the early stages of pregnancy. In order to better observe the physical condition and determine whether there is any abnormality, it is best for pregnant women to measure their basal body temperature once a day and record it in a basal body temperature test sheet. Once any abnormality occurs, it can be discovered and dealt with as soon as possible.

How to measure body temperature during early pregnancy:

Before going to bed every night, shake the mercury column on the thermometer to below 36℃. After waking up the next morning, do not talk or move. Place the thermometer under the tongue and measure the oral temperature for 5 minutes. It is best to keep the temperature measurement time fixed every day. Record the measured results daily on the basal body temperature sheet and connect them into a curve.
