How to regulate the lack of menstruation at the age of 18

Eighteen years old is the most beautiful and energetic period in a girl’s life. Eighteen-year-old girls are innocent and lively, and have the sweetest smile in the world. It is the age that every girl wants to go back to the most. Of course, eighteen-year-old girls also face the pain of menstruation. Many eighteen-year-old girls experience too little menstrual flow during their menstruation, which is an abnormal phenomenon. So, how should we adjust the menstrual period at the age of 18?

What is the reason for less menstrual flow at the age of 18?

The most common causes are endocrine reasons, such as abnormal secretion of various hormones. In addition, it may be caused by the endometrium itself, such as endometrial tuberculosis causing endometrial abrasion or artificial abortion and curettage causing thin endometrium. Therefore, you need to go to the hospital for the following examinations to confirm the cause of scanty menstruation. First, blood should be drawn to check the levels of various hormones to understand whether there are any abnormalities in the hormone levels in the body and to measure the basal body temperature for 2-3 cycles to understand whether ovulation occurs; at the same time, tuberculin tests and erythrocyte sedimentation rates can be done to determine whether there is tuberculosis activity. If there are endocrine abnormalities, targeted treatment should be carried out according to different situations such as which hormones are abnormal and whether fertility is required; if the tuberculosis is active, anti-tuberculosis treatment should be given; if the above tests are normal, no treatment is required.

How to regulate scanty menstruation

4. It is best not to use cold water during menstruation. Generally speaking, you can use cold water during menstruation, but for people with irregular menstruation, it is best not to use cold water!

5. Menstrual irregularities must be treated, otherwise such abnormal menstruation may lead to infertility in the future (of course, infertility is not necessarily caused by irregular menstruation).
