What is a mass in the fallopian tube?

If you find a lump in your fallopian tube during a gynecological examination, you cannot ignore it, because this is quite critical. If the lump continues to worsen and grow, you must take appropriate measures to remove it as soon as possible. This will prevent your condition from becoming more and more serious. Otherwise, it will cause a lump to form in your ovaries.

Tubal pregnancy is a round or linear soft tissue mass with uneven enhancement.

Ovarian abscesses and tuberculosis appear as cystic or solid masses.

Pelvic mass is often one of the chief complaints of gynecological patients and is also an important sign commonly seen in gynecological pelvic examinations. Pelvic masses are usually from the female internal reproductive organs. The masses may be discovered accidentally by the patient or her family members. They may also be discovered during a pelvic examination due to other symptoms such as pain, difficulty urinating, or due to other diseases.

There are no symptoms in the early stage, but when the disease progresses, the "Gu Lian syndrome" of fallopian tube cancer may appear, namely, obstruction of fluid discharge, abdominal pain, and pelvic mass.

CT and MRI, hysterosalpingography. It manifests as varying degrees of lower abdominal pain, lumbar pain and prolapse, menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, increased leucorrhea, infertility, etc.

1. Tubal pregnancy (ectopic pregnancy): The mass is located on one side of the lower abdomen and is obviously tender. Patients often have a history of amenorrhea and minimal vaginal bleeding.

2. Inflammatory mass: The mass is located on both sides of the lower abdomen and is obviously tender. Patients with acute inflammation have fever and lower abdominal pain. Patients with chronic inflammation have fever and lower abdominal pain. Patients with chronic inflammation may be infertile and have a history of dull pain in the lower abdomen.

3. Adnexal mass - benign ovarian tumor: The mass is located on one side of the lower abdomen, has no obvious tenderness, is movable, and gradually grows larger.

4. Adnexal mass - ovarian malignant tumor: The mass is located on both sides of the lower abdomen, without obvious tenderness, inactive, grows rapidly, and has ascites.

4. Adnexal mass Ovarian endometriosis cyst: The endometrium grows on the ovaries and bleeds with the normal menstrual cycle and physiological period, but this bleeding cannot be discharged and gradually accumulates in the body to form a cystic mass.

Benign ovarian tumor: The mass is located on one side of the lower abdomen, with no obvious tenderness, is movable, and the tumor gradually grows larger.

Ovarian malignant tumor: The mass is located on both sides of the lower abdomen, with no obvious tenderness and inability to move. The tumor grows rapidly and there is ascites.

Ovarian endometriosis cyst: The endometrium grows on the ovaries and produces periodic bleeding with the normal menstrual cycle, but this bleeding cannot be discharged, so it gradually accumulates in the body, forming a cyst.
