What medicine should I use for vaginal itching and leucorrhea

The female vagina is connected to the outside world. If you do not pay attention to hygiene, it is easy to breed a lot of bacteria. For example, increased vaginal discharge and vulvar itching are the most common phenomena. Usually, this situation is mostly caused by vaginitis. Vaginitis medication needs to be used under the guidance of a doctor. Do not use drugs blindly, otherwise it will affect the condition. You also need to pay attention to personal hygiene, try to wash underwear with boiling water, and expose them to the sun.

What are the early symptoms of vaginitis?

1. Symptoms of fungal vaginitis (also known as candidal vaginitis)

Severe itching of the vulva and vagina is the most prominent symptom of candidal vaginitis. Sometimes you may even feel restless and extremely painful, which affects your sleep and work; you may feel pain and irritation in the vagina and have difficulty having sex; this is often accompanied by burning pain, difficulty urinating and increased frequency of urination, painful urination, and pain during sex. Increased vaginal discharge, yellow-green leucorrhea, sticky like cheese or accompanied by small white pieces like bean curd residue discharged from the vagina, with a slight odor, these are common symptoms of candidal vaginitis. In the acute phase, damaged erosive surfaces and shallow ulcers may be seen covered by a white membrane.

2. Symptoms of Trichomonas vaginitis

The leucorrhea of patients with Trichomonas vaginitis is light yellow, gray or milky white, thin, abundant, has a foul or mouse odor, contains fine foam, and is sometimes mixed with blood and is pink and purulent. Vulvar itching is also one of the symptoms of Trichomonas vaginitis. Vulvar itching caused by Trichomonas vaginitis mainly occurs at the vaginal opening and vulva, and is also accompanied by a burning sensation and pain during intercourse, which are secondary symptoms. Trichomonas vaginitis can cause increased secretions, which often overflow from the vaginal opening and irritate the skin of the vulva. Patients will feel itching and burning of the vulva. When combined with urinary tract infection, there may be frequent urination, painful urination, and even hematuria. The foam in the secretions is due to the production of gas after carbohydrates are broken down in the vagina.

3. Symptoms of bacterial vaginosis

The abnormal vaginal secretions increase significantly and are thin, homogeneous or thin, pasty, grayish white, grayish yellow or milky yellow, with a special fishy odor. Since alkaline prostatic fluid can cause the release of amines, the odor may worsen during or after intercourse. The vaginal pH increases during menstruation, so the odor may also worsen during or after menstruation. The patient has discomfort in the vulva, including varying degrees of vulvar itching, which is generally not time-sensitive. However, the itching is more obvious when resting or under stress. There is also varying degrees of external burning sensation, and some patients experience pain during intercourse. Very few patients experience lower abdominal pain, difficulty in intercourse, and abnormal urination. The vaginal mucosal epithelium does not show obvious congestion during the onset of the disease.

4. Symptoms of nonspecific vaginitis

Common symptoms of nonspecific vaginitis include increased vaginal discharge, which is purulent or serous. In severe cases, the discharge may have a foul odor. Because the secretions stimulate the urethral opening, it can also cause urinary urgency, urinary pain, a feeling of heaviness in the vagina, burning sensation, etc. During an acute attack, the body temperature may be slightly elevated. Typical leucorrhea is grayish white, thin and uniform in texture, with very low viscosity, sometimes foamy, and accompanied by an unpleasant odor, which worsens during sexual intercourse.
